STAR GATE Revealed: CIA's Psychic Spy Files at STARpod.org

(STARpod.org) -- Although the public is more aware today than they were in 1995, when the CIA finally owned up to the existence of "U.S. government phenomenology projects," only part of the truth behind "strange goings on" has been revealed.

The United States had been secretly conducting research into the use of the paranormal: to spy on the Soviets, the aliens, and more. Not only was this series of programs, generically known as STAR GATE, run by the Defense Intelligence Agency, there were others less well known. The existence of many related projects, sponsored by CIA, NSA, DIA, the NAVY, U.S. Air Force, and others too numerous to mention here can be found in brief references scattered among the CIA released documents.

Several sources tell us that some of the paranormal programs continue today, most notably at the National Security Agency, this according to at least three independent sources.

Ultimately, beyond the rumors provided by participants, contractors, and government sources, the best evidence continues to be the CIA STAR GATE collection of documents deemed to be acceptable for release to the public. Although the documents have been decorated by the ubiquitous use of "black markers" to redact and sanitize any information held as sensitive or vital to national security, the collection provides an intriguing glimpse into the thought process within the Intelligence Community.

To that end, STARpod.org presents STAR GATE: SECRETS REVEALED, an assortment that we hand-selected from the more than 89,000 pages of the original STAR GATE collection.

Among the documents are examples of operation use of psychic spying, including the 1991 Gulf War, mental impressions of the "extraterrestrial presence" in our solar system, and a sizable number of scientific reports and peer reviews of the paranormal operations. There are also briefing documents used to keep the powers that be informed about the project's status.

Since 1995 many of the original psychic spies have written books about their misadventures.

Of these, Paul H. Smith's book READING THE ENEMY'S MIND provides the best overall historical review of the projects, and sources involved in the project tell us that author Jim Schnabel's book REMOTE VIEWERS provides an accurate portrayal of the events which took place over the decades the program was in operation. Schnabel's research effort that led to the book, and his prior articles about the project, were the subject of numerous government memos found in the STAR GATE collection.

Whether or not you "want to believe" in this extraordinary government-documented account of "real-life X-files," I believe you will find the collection provides deep insight into how our government functions in the face of the unknown.
