• 2 T. dill seed

• 2 T. mustard seed

• 2 T. cumin seed

• 2 T. chili powder

• 2 T. paprika

• ½ T. red pepper flakes

• a small handful each of fresh dill, sage, rosemary, thyme, and parsley

Crush and grind the spices and add to a pot of boiling water, approximately ¾ full. Add to that 30 live, hard-shell blue crabs. Cover the pot and boil until all the shells turn red, approximately 20 minutes. We serve it with fresh corn on the cob, crusty rolls, and beer.
