The Xbox 360 is a very powerful gaming system. With the latest technology coming from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 can play games with very high graphics and processor requirements. It is not surprising that gamers want emulators for the Xbox 360, so they can play Xbox 360 games on their PC´s.

However, Xbox 360 emulator downloads promising that you can play with Xbox 360 games on your PC are most often fake, and are most of the time harmful Trojans and/or viruses for your PC. There are a few legitimate ones, but they could not compare to the speed of the gaming console itself – even the latest computer gaming rigs can´t match up to the 2005 technology in the Xbox 360.

Wondering why? It´s because the Xbox 360 has three core 'slightly modified cell processor architecture' IBM Xenon microprocessor and the R600-based ATI GPU – in simple terms, it´s got a really huge brain that even the most advanced computers can´t replicate. PC´s are way aster than the speed of the Xbox 360, but they have to be much, much faster to emulate the 30 frames per second that the Xbox 360 smoothly churns out on the screen.

So when you see links to Xbox 360 emulator downloads which say that you can play Xbox 360 games on your PC, think twice before clicking on them. The technology is not really present at the moment, and it would probably take years before such an emulator is developed. In the meantime, getting your own Xbox 360 isn´t a bad idea, to enjoy this wonderful gaming console.
