To Please The Moros Without Giving Them What They Want

AS OF PRESSTIME, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) already made the full assessment that the 'Land Grant Peace Talk Process' with the Philippine government will not be fulfilled this year, despite repeated follow-ups by several rebel group officials to finally consummate the September 2006 timeline for the signature of approval.
The head of the MILF Peace Panel Secretariat formally professed the long-confirmed assessment after listening to the recent State-of-the Nation Address (SONA) of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo before the Congressional Joint Session last July 24, 2006.
In that specific executive message, President Arroyo never mentioned anything about the GRP-MILF Peace Talks, obviously due to reasons of process inadequacies from the petitioning party that prevent the early fulfillment of the peace process.
Her silence over the peace pact fulfillment issue goes to show that she considers the peace pact process as a very important policy of her administration. The president has decided to meticulously work for a fair output that will please the prospective 'Bangsamoro Republic', EVEN WITHOUT GIVING THEM WHAT THEY WANT.
It is a fact that Philippine government officials made similar pronouncements on separate occasions, that the MILF and Philippine government will finally sign the peace deal by September of 2006. But hasn't any schooled and cultured Moro ever heard of feasibility breakdown along the way? After all, there's no such thing as Utopia.

Another reason for this process delay is the fact that the Philippine government has fully comprehended the counter-proposal of the MILF peace negotiators on the proposed territory of the Bangsamoro Republic.
