Joseph's Wish! When Obama meets Harper, may their dirty Oil Pipeline be dismantled.
Dear Steven Staples:
Kid, you don't know me very well or you would never ask me your question!
Why don't you visit my blog on Barack Obama's Official Web Site and check out the things I have been writing to him over the past year. If you visit this site: http:Americanchronicle.com/authors/josephRaglione ...you can read the letters and information he has been passing on to me for general distribution.
If I were any other type of person, I would be proud of knowing a "President", but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'm an arms-length journalist and political activist for the environment, and I don't really know this President...>
Here are questions you can ask him...
1. Why have you permitted Mountain top Coal Mining to continue, with more permits than even the Bush administration granted the Coal companies?
2. Why have you granted a permit for the Alberta Clipper Oil Pipeline to be created? It will pump dirty crude from the Alberta Canada's Tar Sands to Wisconsin U.S.A., for years into the future?
3. What happened to your promise of a cleaner environment?
Signed: Joseph Raglione
Executive director: The World Humanitarian Peace and Ecology Movement.

Subject: 42 Minutes with Obama
Joseph,
If you had 42 minutes with President Barack Obama, what would you say to him?
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Harper will meet with President Obama at the White House for 42 minutes. According to media reports, the topics to be discussed include the economy, free trade, energy, and security. The Globe and Mail urged Prime Minister Harper to "make this summit about Afghanistan."
What you would say to President Barack Obama in your own 42-minute meeting? Leave your reply on Ceasefire.ca.
We will be sharing the comments with journalists covering the Harper-Obama summit, so your comment could be heard or seen by millions of Canadians.
