Another George Michael Sex Scandal
Michael's smooth pop ballads have earned him worldwide fame, he no longer tours but his timeless classics can still be hear in radio stations all over the globe.
Unfortunately, Michael is also well known for his many public improprieties, in 1998 he was arrested for "engaging in a lewd act" in a public restroom in a Beverly Hills city park.
After pleading "no contest" to the charge, Michael was fined $810 and sentenced to 80 hours of community service. After the incident, he came out of the closet as a homosexual.
A few days ago Michael was exposed by a British newspaper cavorting with a 58-year old hobo (I'm not making this stuff up) in a well known homosexual pick-up stop in London.
George Michael is not ashamed of his risky and scandalous behavior, insisting he's still a role model for young gays.
"I should be able to be what I am to young gay people - which is a man who has managed to succeed in the industry for 25 years.
"Sorry if people don't like the fact I cruise on Hampstead Heath but the police absolutely accept that it goes on at night.
"It's the only place in London where that is the case so it's generally a safe place."
Michael has every right to be proud of his success in the music industry, and certainly being a homosexual is nothing to be ashamed of, but he should be shamefaced of his reckless promiscuity.
Many young people look up to entertainers and emulate their behavior, Michael is setting a bad example for them. Michael is a lousy role model for young people -- be they straight or gay.
It's a shame that Michael is staining his legacy with his idiotic antics, instead of being remembered for a beautiful ballad like "Careless Whispers", his name now conjures up images of him having sex in a public restroom and romping with an old hobo in a city park.
