COLIN FARRELL SERVED WITH $10 MILLION LAWSUIT

Author/Screenwriter Dessarae Bradford recently announced that she will hold an exclusive press conference to make her first public statement regarding her $10 million lawsuit against Miami Vice co-star Colin Farrell. The time and date is yet to be determined.

Farrell was served on July 20th, 2006 by Counter Force Private Investigative Agency of Marina Del Rey on the red carpet during the premiere of the new movie “Miami Vice” while Colin was talking to the paparazzi in Westwood, CA.

Just hours before he was served with legal papers, while appearing for an interview on the Jay Leno show, Colin and Dessarae met for the first time on stage when she walked up past the security guards acting like she was part of the show and handed both Leno and Farrell her business card and a copy of her book, “Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy”.

The lawsuit alleges that Farrell stalked and harassed Bradford for six months after he instituted a long distance relationship with her. Farrell had heard about her first book and then contacted her. The suit also alleges that Farrell has slandered Bradford to the media. Bradford will address and correct some of the specific public statements made by Farrell.

A representative of Counter Force will be there, along with Bradford’s spokesperson to verify to the media that Farrell has been legally served with papers and has been summoned to appear in Federal District Court in Los Angeles.

A previous lawsuit filed by Bradford in Santa Monica Court was dismissed because the Court lacked jurisdiction over Farrell who is a resident of Ireland.

Miami Vice opens this week on Friday in theatres around the country and Alex Gabor plans to write an article about the whole Bradford/Farrell affair titled, "Sex Goddess - Vice God" based on an exclusive 12 hour interview with Bradford.
