SHOEMAKER BROTHERS CAPTURE FANS TENDER HEARTS
The Bank sisters wanted to honor the Shoemaker Brothers with a memorable gift. They painted a beautiful abstract painting together which consisted of four hand painted hearts, one for each of the brothers, along with a letter of appreciation which read: Dear Shoemaker Brothers, We have started a tradition of painting hearts for the people that have touched our lives. All of you have certainly made a lasting impression on us. It is a great honor to have met you and we will treasure the memory forever.
The painting contains many different elements which each have unique meanings. So as not to leave you wondering, we will explain the meaning of each one. The hearts represent the kindness, empathy, patience, honesty, respect and love that we received from you. The musical notes represent how music touches peoplesī lives from near and far. The black lines bind everything together; they touch the various pursuits such as music, math, literature, science, and nature. The colors work together in perfect harmony making the picture complete. The painting was inspired by Peter Max and Romero Britto and one of our favorite poems: "The Crayon Box That Talked" by Shane DeRolf. The Bank Sisters
