T206 on eTopps: New Baseball Card Set Prepared Featuring All-Time Greats
The entire set will be delivered via the classic Topps T-206 brand (even staying true to the original T-206 size and backs), but brought to life on stunning eTopps technology. This series will showcase 10 of the greatest baseball players of the 20th Century, including Babe Ruth, Cy Young and a reproduction of the original T206 Honus Wagner.
Only 749 sets will be offered, all sequentially numbered, individually encased and delivered in a specially designed box.
The 10-card set is $69.99.
You must purchase all 10 eTopps T-206 cards as a set. Once cards are allocated, each card will be placed in your online portfolio separately at $7 per card. At that point, you will be able to trade, sell and buy the cards separately. If you wish to request delivery, you can have the entire set delivered or you can ship the cards separately. Just like all eTopps cards, each card will be individually encased.
While the eTopps T206 cards differ in size from regular eTopps cards, they will continue to be encased in the standard sized eTopps tamper-evident, plastic case with eTopps sticker. The cards will be placed into a fitted frame and then fixed inside of the case.
eTopps T206 cards will be allocated on Monday, September 14, 2009. There will be a special discounted shipping window between September 15 and September 28, 2009. If all 10 cards from the eTopps T-206 set are present in your portfolio and you request delivery of the set during this window your cards will be delivered in a labeled box set with a special shipping discount of $9.99 per set, and Topps guarantees each card in the set will have matching sequential numbers (for example, the Honus Wagner card will be 042 of 749, the Lou Gehrig card will be 042 of 749, the Nolan Ryan card will be 042 of 749, and so forth).
Collectors can look for the 2009Topps T-206 Baseball 100th Anniversary Edition trading card series, available in November 2009. This popular brand returns with a comprehensive tribute to the trading cards that launched an American phenomenon, and highlight the century's greatest baseball players, today's biggest stars, and the brightest future prospects.
