A Simple Definition Of Metabolism

Robert Kokoska
In truth, more than 60% of my clients came to me to help them in losing weight. The other 40% is a mix of folks who need to live longer, who need to look sexier, who need to add muscle to their physique, or who just wish to live a healthy, energy-rich life. Today, I am going to target helping those folks that desire to lose pounds, not because I suspect that the subject of weight reduction is more important than other subjects I could cover, but because I suspect I must clear up some fake concepts that are circulating in the biz.

Firstly, if you are oversized, there's an excellent likelihood that you've got a low metabolism! I'm sure that would possibly not be surprising to you. You will have already thought you had a slow metabolism, but here's why I am re-stating it.. Your constitution is largely some organs and glands that are in charge of controlling how your body burns food for fuel and how it converts that food into energy.

These include the thyroid, pancreas, stomach, large and small viscera, and the gut.

But there are more causes for being obese aside from having a low metabolism. You see, chunky folks have a tendency to eat when they are not hungry, they have a tendency to have a bigger appetite, they have an inclination to eat "diet foods" more frequently (which are infrequently conducive to weight loss as the label counsels), they generally tend to eat before they are going to bed, and worst of all they have a tendency to see themselves as being obese.

Now you can clean up just about all of this mess by living a healthful way of life, or if you have read any of my books or listened to any of the audio programs my company has out, then you already know all of the basics related to living a lean, healthy way of life.

But the real problem that can not ever be cleared up simply with your actions, is the way you see yourself when you shut your eyes. My studies at the nation's Metabolic and Longevity Research Center have taught me that large folks consistently think about their weight in a negative way, so creating the undesired effect. It's correct that you become what you think, and if you continually see yourself as being fat, you will never be thin!

Here's a tip, for the following thirty days (it takes twenty eight - thirty days to switch how you subconsciously think about yourself) take a little while in the morning and picture a great looking, tight, sexy body from head to toe - then put your face on that body. Do this exercise again in the mid afternoon, and then again right before you go to sleep at night. Do this for thirty days and I guarantee that you can experience a dramatic change in the way your body looks simply by changing the way you think about yourself.
