AQ and JI Presence in the Philippines is Top Crimewatch Agenda
The AQ and JI presence in the country is NOT A DEAD ISSUE. In fact, these two foreign terror culprits are alive and well in the Philippines, and in the other countries of the world.
The reaction of a high ranking official of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (who requested anonymity in a radio interview) that the AQ and JI connection in the country is a long dead issue, is obviously ridiculous.
CRIMEWATCHFUL BARANGAYS
Aside from the Philippine police and military sectors, the Philippine government organized civilian and para-military crimewatch organizations in every barangay in the country to prevent the existence and evil designs of terrorists, rebel syndicates, and other Moro criminals in the communities and other areas.
These local government crimewatch groups throughout the country had worked so closely and meticulously since their creation in 2002, and several AQ and JI-linked terrorists were captured, and their victims freed.
These specific guardians of peace also participate directly in the various operations of government forces against many other terror group piracies and exploitations.
THE HIDING PLACE
As per intelligence findings, AQ and JI militants are well-hidden in various MILF hideouts in Mindanao, which makes it difficult for the military to launch an offensive against them.
Nevertheless, the strict presence of the crimewatch groups in every community is more than enough of a preventive measure against terror assaults.
The military, on the other hand, will not tolerate this situation for long, as the foreign villains and local underlings will eventually be pinned down one after the other in due time. "Crime Does Not Pay", so the saying goes.
Contrary to the MILF defensive impression, there is nothing “fishy” in the Philippine government's act of using the AQ and JI issue as justification to launch military strikes in MILF areas.
Ironically, unpredictable members of the MILF has condemned terrorism and are pursuing a policy for the protection of the people.
DIAPHANOUS CAMOUFLAGE
The military has estimated the number of AQ and JI militants in the country as close to 50, including UMAR PATEK (aka Mike) and DULMATIN (aka Potono aka Djoko Supryanto), who are most wanted for their direct involvement in the 2002 Bali bomb attacks that killed 202 people.
The USA government has offered a 10 Million-Dollar reward to those who would provide information on the whereabouts of these AQ and JI leaders and subordinate terrorists.
The local terror leaders at large are KHADAFFY JANJALANI aka Amir aka Dafs, JAINAL ANTEL SALI aka Abu Solaiman, ISNILON HAPILON aka Salahuddin, RADULLAN SAHIRON aka Commander Putol, ABU JUMDAIL aka Dr. Abu aka Dr. Pula, BORHAN MUNDUS, ZULKIFLI BIN ABDUL HIR, ISMIN SAHIRON aka Is, USTADZ HATTA HAIPE, OSMAN aka Usman aka Rizal, JUNDAM JUMALUL aka Black Killer, WAHAB OPAO aka Abu Fatima, ALBADER PARAD, and SUHOD TANADJALAN aka Commander Suhod.
NOT AT ALL INTIMIDATED
Malacañang has said over and over again that the Philippine government will not be intimidated by threats of the Moro terror groups in the country, who have continuously threatened to perform an all-out war against the government once their demand for a 'wholesome' Bangsamoro republic is not met.
Hence, the government will not be cowed by threats that come from Moro terrorist organizations, such as Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Abu Sayyaf Groups (ASG), Rajah Sulaiman Group (RSG), Urban Terrorist Groups (UTG), Independent, Integrated and Merged Al Qaeda Groups, Independent, Integrated and Merged Jemaa Islamiyah Groups, Independent, Integrated and Merged Mujahedeen Groups, and Warlord/Warrior Clans.
