Feed a Poor, African family for only $10 a month

Every year, over two million people die in Africa due to starvation. These people range from Orphans, street children, to handicapped parents who are too poor to feed their kids.
You can do something about it. For only $10 a month, you can feed a child with a healthy balanced diet for one full month.
Food 4 Africa, an African NGO with a presence in 40 African countries has launched an appeal to provide these children with three square meals a day.
As part of a coordinated response and in partnership with a series of Food manufacturers, producers, and philanthropists, Food 4 Africa is working to ensure that children and families affected by famine in Kenya and starvation in other parts of Africa receive emergency assistance, including health services and hygiene and food supplies. Over three million families in Africa eat only one, unbalanced meal in a day.
Food 4 Africa needs your help to feed hungry families in Africa. For only $10, you can feed a hungry family for one full month, and the family will be eating balanced diets.
Food 4 Africa is focusing its efforts on children, women-headed households, families with children under 5, and families that include an injured or chronically breadwinner who cannot afford to provide for the family anymore. Already, Food 4 Africa has begun distributing food items to families in Kenya, which include bags of rice, beans, cooking oil, cooking and eating utensils, water jugs, lanterns, floor mats, combs, soap, detergent, and sanitary cloth. We are also focusing on providing protection and education programmes for children in camps or temporary shelter.
Food 4 Africa has worked in Africa for more than 25 years. We are committed to helping improve the lives and well-being of African children and women, and ensuring that they have food to eat. We have a strong portfolio of health, education and emergency response programmes, while continuing to address needs of children and families all over Africa. Food 4 Africa is also working in areas ravaged by civil war.
