CITY OF ANAHEIM AWARDS ANAHEIM GATEWAY PARTNERS FOR ARTIC PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The City of Anaheim today selected Anaheim Gateway Partners (AGP) to provide Program Management services for ARTIC Phase 1 (Initial Transportation Facility). AGP is the collaboration of the resources and expertise of three leading national firms; STV Construction, Inc., Tishman Construction Corporation, and Harris and Associates. AGP will provide the City with world-class transportation program management experience, a local program manager and team, extensive nationwide rail and bus transportation knowledge, and construction management expertise and staff resources.
"Program management of the design and construction of ARTIC is critical to its success, and we are pleased to announce that Anaheim Gateway Partners will play this important role," said Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle. "In May the City Council approved the architectural and engineering firm, and just two months later we approved Anaheim Gateway Partners for ARTIC´s program management. ARTIC´s momentum is building and with APG we have crossed one more milestone."

ARTIC is a multi-year, multi-phase project with each phase coinciding with new and/or expanded transportation services and development. The first phase of this project, valued at approximately $180 million, shall consist of site work and preparation, transportation center and supporting facilities, trackwork and platforms, parking, public art, and access and street improvements. Phase I will also include transit-oriented retail, mixed-use commercial development and civic space. Completion date is expected mid 2013.
