It's important that I also save money when I'm trying to lose weight. The Medifast Program makes this pretty easy since they often have specials running so you can get free food. These come in the form of Medifast coupon codes that you can use online.
The most valuable Medifast special runs frequently. It's the offer to get two weeks of Medifast free. This is a pretty good deal as it let's you try Medifast out at a substantial discount. You'll have been able to sample a good variety of Medifast foods so if you need to lose extra weight, you'll know exactly what to order next time.
Occasionally, Medifast also offers a cash discount. Usually it is for $50 off an order that's at least $275. It just isn't as good as two weeks of free food though. That offers a big savings, about $200.00. if you are already familiar with Medifast and there are foods in the variety packs that you really don't like, you may prefer saving cash upfront. It probably makes the most sense if you want to place a custom order so you know what you are getting.
If you have plans to use Medifast for at least a couple of months, signing up for their regular monthly orders makes sense. Medifast calls this the VIP program, but that's just a name for their monthly billing plan. When you sign up for auto-ship, you will get two free Medifast variety packs. They'll send you one free week for the first two monthly orders, and then after that you'll always save 5% off your order.
And feel free to make changes to your Medifast orders. If you don't like lemon bars, you can change your order as long as it hasn't shipped out yet. You can also add things to your regular order if you just want to try something new.
Medifast's automatic shipments are also easy to cancel Medifast lets you cancel the auto-ship plan right on their website. Because it is so easy, I think it is generally a good idea to just sign up for the auto-ship plan, even if you aren't sure you'll stick with Medifast.
