Health insurance reform negotiations in Washington are moving quickly. We need to act now to demonstrate public support for reform -- and to counter special-interest lobbyists who will stop at nothing to block it.
The letters section is one of the most-read parts of your local paper, and decision-makers in Congress and the media watch it closely to gauge where the public stands. They'll pay extra attention to a letter from a small business owner like you.
With just two or three short paragraphs, you can show that the folks who create local jobs stand in support of real health insurance reform in 2009. A letter in your local paper will have a huge impact -- will you write one today?

Over the past decade, premiums have doubled, out-of-pocket costs have increased by a third, and deductibles have continued to rise. If we fail to act, American businesses will pay the price.
