NLL: Portland Expansion Team Now Has Name

The people of Portland have made their voices heard along with other fans from around the National Lacrosse League community.

Earlier tonight, Portland Owner Angela Batinovich announced that the Portland franchise would be known as the Portland Lumberjax. The announcement came during a gathering of staff and fans at MaFaddens Resturant and Saloon, just hours ago.

The Lumberjax also confirmed their coaching staff last Friday. The General Manager and Head Coach will be Derek Keenan and his Assistant Coaches will be Jeremy Tellevi and Jeff McComb.
