HOW TO END OUR INVOLVEMENT IN IRAQ

Here's how to end our involvement in Iraq without loosing face, or loosing any more of our soldiers.
We put a total embargo on the country. No flights in or out, no ships allowed into port. We isolate them and we simply tell them to…
"Work it out. You all want to blow up one another and cut each others heads off? You want to shoot one another? Go to it! Reduce your nation by half? Makes no difference to anyone else on the planet. You choose to export your form of tribal insanity? There will be no trials. There will be no publicity. Those who leave your country with evil intent will simply cease to exist. End of story."
And then with our advanced satellite technology we will broadcast the drama every night on television world wide. How much will their collective ego be able to take. They will look like fools. They will become the "joke" of the civilized world. We will simply observe. No comment by our leaders. No chiding or criticism. No bombings, no boots on the ground. When they are finished, organized and able to govern themselves in a civilized fashion, then they will be welcomed back into the world of civilized nations.
Anyone in the United States who is dissatisfied with life here? Who refuses to speak English or refuses to honor our laws and traditions? Back to their country of origin, free airplane ticket, one way. Enough of this school yard bullying on our part. We can't change ancient tribal cultures? Only they can do that from within and for themselves. If they fail to make the transition to the 21st Century, then they will simply fall by the wayside…another historical footnote. The future is picking up speed. Technology, it's curses and it's blessings are multiplying every day like a virus in a warm petri dish. The future is coming at us now like a semi crossed over into our lane. Here it comes! Ready or not, think of something to be, prepare yourself mentally and you will see it stream past your window so fast it will make your head spin and you will call it HISTORY!
I suspect that this may very well be the philosophy alien cultures from other worlds have held towards Earth for many, many years. They look down upon us. They observe us, but they do not interfere. Instead they simply hold the wish that someday, perhaps we will work it all out and then on that day, we will be welcomed into an entire Universe of civilized beings. We can only wish the same for Iraq.
