Blood Deep as the Horses´ Bridles

With the approach of 2012, prophecy these days is very much in the forefront of our attention as evidenced by various recent documentaries on television such as the History Channel, which showcase famous prophets such as Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, Mother Shipton, and John, the author of the Bible´s Book of Revelation. These programs give us a lot of information about what these prophets have predicted but not a whole lot of specifics on how these prophecies might play out. I would like to weigh in on what I believe sheds light on one intriguing verse from John´s prophecy in Revelation where John states that blood will run out of the winepress of God´s wrath in a river as deep as the horses´ bridles.
John states in Revelation 14:19-20 that "the angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia."
I had often wondered what might be hidden within this prophetic picture. For one thing, the very characteristic of blood is that it coagulates and stops flowing. And just why were horses, if wading in a river of blood, used to illustrate the measurement of the depth of this river?
Funny thing about horses. It is the only animal which gives us the impression they are naked. Horses are the very picture of what we think of as raw sensuality. Watch a horse run, and we identify and "feel" the rush of the wind and the flex of its muscles. We may even feel our nostrils flare a bit right along with theirs. To me, horses in prophecy are representative of mankind.
Another brief mention of the horse occurs previously to this scripture in James 3:3 which gives another clue as to linking the illustration of the horse in scripture to mankind. James is using this prophetic picture in reference to controlling a person´s tongue where he says, "we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us. We can turn the whole animal." In that same way, if a man can control his tongue, he is master of his whole body.
Other references to horses in the bible are in regard to the infamous Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in Revelation 6:2-8 which states, "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
If we, therefore, conclude that all these prophetic pictures of horses are representative of mankind, I believe the most important aspect about these references is not so much the horses, but the ones who are riding them, the ones who control them. The colors of the horses speak to me of the effects of the actions of the riders.
Now comes the horses which are the measurement of the depth of the flow of blood from the winepress of God´s wrath. The blood was at the height of the bridle which is used to control the horse. A bridle encases the entire head of the horse and is attached to the bit in its mouth as well as to the reins held by the rider. The bridle system only deals with the head of the horse. Control the head and the rest of the body follows.
What we may conclude from this illustration of the bridle is that what is happening here is control of the thoughts of the animal. Tug at the bridle in one direction, the horse knows to go that way. The rider certainly is not physically forcing the horse with the reins. That would be impossible due to the strength of the horse. This is on a level above the physical in the realm of triggering thought impulses. If we see that these horses represent the collection of humanity, John is speaking about thought control. All of the horsemen of scripture are controlling and affecting humanity´s thoughts. Bit and bridle is just another way of saying "words" and "thoughts."
A thought is the forerunner of mankind´s every action. Everything begins with a thought. Therefore, in this prophecy, the fruit in the winepress of God´s wrath which is being pressed represents not only deeds but the thoughts behind them, and in spiritual terms, mere thoughts sometimes equate to having already done the resulting actions. In the case of this wine pressing, it yields blood instead of wine, indicating death instead of life, and speaks of death while living, because the blood is still flowing, not coagulated.
As I said previously, pay attention to those who ride the prophetic horses. What might those look like who are riding these horses in a river of blood? These riders are hidden and not described, shadowy and controlling invisibly. You know they have to be there, but they are not identified in a prophetic way. Therefore, this is a prediction that the time will come when men and women´s life blood--figuratively dead while still living and breathing and flowing in a great collection of thought--will finally reach the depth of the horse´s bridle (full control), the reins of which are held in the merciless grip of the faceless ones, whether that is a group of many members or one acting alone.
Allow me to ask a few pertinent questions at this point. Could it even be possible that crises, such as September 11, could be caused for the express purpose of manipulation of the thought of the nation, which then allows acceptance of things that the nation would not accept otherwise? Could the news media slant the news, positively or negatively, and even affect the outcome of an election or determine public reputations? How much influence on thought does the fashion industry have on whether someone is accepted or not based solely on appearance? Can financial crises dictate what occupies the thought life at the detriment of other thoughts? Could an alien agenda or any other agenda be gradually interjected or sanitized in our thoughts via the movie industry?
I could go on and on with these simple questions. But one thing is true. Freewill was divinely created and ordained as a law of the universe by God himself, who always expressly goes to great lengths to honor freewill, as evidenced by the presence of a choice even in the Garden of Eden. The only way freewill can be overridden is by control of thoughts. Freewill is the enemy of dictators and power mongers.
Ever wonder how many thoughts that come into your mind in the course of a day actually originate from you yourself? The time may come when those who will maintain their freewill will have to have external truth and all that they have previously identified as good to reference as their only reality. For with technology such as sophisticated sound wave weapons, Project Blue Beam, and HAARP technology, our thought capabilities can come under siege and be overcome by strangers without some form of stabilizing external reality. We do not really know the extent to which these technologies can go at the present time in capabilities of even disrupting internal rhythms of the body, causing heart attacks or suicidal thoughts whereby a person conveniently eliminates himself. The use of this could possibly render many as pawns in a new game of life. Google the name, Serge Monast, and read his story.
As a student of history and an active observer of current events, I see from my perch that mankind stands with its collective mouth open, drinking deeply of a torrent gushing forth from the open fire hydrant of thought control coming from the media in all of its forms--personal computers, books, advertisements, video games, and movies. This "press" upon the mind is unprecedented in history and time after time, we hear of thoughts taking control in sly and stealthy ways, such as porn addiction. Initially, these thoughts are a choice of how and what we want to think, but they become a gallows upon which we are hung.
We also see that traditions have closed down the thoughts of some and religions, others. I speak now to fellow Christians and declare that thousands of rules, regulations, rituals and an escape mentality have been added onto the pure faith taught by Jesus Christ as a means of control and not by him. The Illuminati´s enlightenment of reason is its own religion of control, free and accepted, as long as one agrees with their agenda.
Just last evening, I watched a TV documentary on the Science Channel entitled, "The Day of the Cyborg." Scientists are currently developing neurochips which are about the size of a contact lens which when implanted onto the surface of the human brain, will allow thought transmissions via telepathy. Right now, with this implant, they can assist paraplegics in controlling a computer by thought alone. Once they understand how this works, they may be able to stimulate the muscles of the paraplegic to work normally--a wonderful invention, but how far can the dark side take it? They were quick to downplay the fact that interpreting brain signals may mean they are on the rocky road to reading peoples´ thoughts. By their own admission, give them 20 more years of development and they might. However, presently they cannot read thoughts, but the possibility brings to mind a nightmare scenario of thought police and wide scale elimination of those who are not on board the politically correct agenda. It has happened before even without the aid of neurochips, but if thoughts are no longer a private matter, where will one hide this time?
If we hold the measuring stick of thought control up to many prophecies, even by today´s imperfect technological abilities, it fits quite well with plenty of room for adjustment for the advances in technology that is future. Envision soldiers of tomorrow as Cyborgs, part men and part machines, linked in telepathic thought and enhanced way beyond mere human power. The gathering of the kings of the earth for that great and horrific battle of Armageddon must first be accomplished via thought, morphing into delusion, and finally into the deed.
Curiously, this same documentary also reports about a scientist who has implanted a chip into his own wrist. His wife also has a chip in her wrist, and each can receive sensations from the other when certain actions of the hand are undertaken. Here we have technology which can be implanted into the wrist and the head capable of transmitting electrical impulses which are linked to thoughts and actions. Where have we heard of the hand and the head before? One day every action of the hand and every thought in the mind may be monitored. We will certainly have the ability to do that, and what man can do, he will. I believe the elementary RFID chips of today are child´s play compared to technology of tomorrow which will betray our intentions and actions (buying and selling) as predicted in Revelation 13:16-17, "and he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" This horse rider is 666, the perfection of human imperfection, who will kill anyone whom he does not control.
Does anyone else notice the reins being tugged on how humanity thinks? Make no mistake, the winepress will get a whole lot heavier and the trampling of the grapes in earnest before the end comes, and this has to do with our own free thought choices of today. Choose wisely because the winepress uses what you choose to think about as the judge of yourself, and your blood could end up in that river deep as the horses´ bridles with no more thoughts to call your own.
