Making Major Contributions to Pink Paws for Life.
Bel Aire, Florida. - Linda Hogan puts her money where her mouth is - making a major financial contribution to pet cancer charity Pink Paws for Life. In addition to her financial contribution, Linda continues to lend her time and voice to the Pink Paws movement – she embarked on a national radio tour last week. She wants everyone to know how important the work Pink Paws does and why she became the official spokesperson, "I will do anything in my power to stop the suffering our pets and their owners feel when the tragedy of cancer strikes."
Pink Paws for Life Executive Director Mark Nunez speaks about Linda's involvement, "Linda is a major force - politically and financially - in Pink Paws' movement to eradicate pet cancer. We want to give owners greater information so they can make better choices when and if their pet becomes sick. Linda knows first hand how devastating it is to have a pet family member diagnosed with cancer".
It is because of her own personal connection to pet cancer - her dog was diagnosed last year - that Linda is urging others to contribute to Pink Paws for Life. "There are so many ways to make a contribution to Pink Paws. You can donate money. Any amount can help. You can volunteer with the organization. You can walk in the Walk to Cure Pet Cancer to raise awareness and funds for research, prevention and treatment programs. I'll be at the Philly walk with my dog".
Pink Paws for Life is having its inaugural Walk to Cure Pet Cancer in Philadelphia, PA on August 16th, 2009. Linda will be at the starting line at MLK at 9am sharp. Pink Paws for Life is a charitable foundation dedicated to finding a cure for pet cancers. Its goal is to provide widespread awareness and funding for pet cancer research and prevention measures. Pink Paws for Life works with Universities, Medical facilities and other organizations to provide pets and families with treatment, education, resources and programs. To raise funds and support their initiatives Pink Paws sponsors a number of non-competitive canine and human walks, pet fashion shows and other events. Pink Paws fundraises and receives donations from corporations, organizations, and individual donors.
