Can Israel Friends in the US Help Boost Mid-East Talks?

Despite the fact that Israel is often referred to now as the fourth most powerful country in the world, the perceived threat to Israel is not military defeat, it is annihilation. This statement represents a prominent philosophy and strategy driver of the so called Israel lobby or pro-Israel lobby in the United States. There is no doubt about the kind of suffering and discrimination that the Jews in general experienced through hundreds, or say, thousands of years, in some part of the world or the other, which was at its peak in our modern history from the French Revolution taken its way to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries ending with the most aggressive form of brutality, i.e. the Holocaust on the hands of the Nazis. The so called the "Jewish Question" represents in it self a dirty form of racialism and intolerance; why there should be a "Jewish Question," or "Christian Question," or any other "question" of racist nature?
Anyway, the main point here is that the "Jewish Lobby" in the USA is trying to use its resources and power to enhance relations between the two countries and ensure the US support to Israel, as the US is believed to the be the world's freedom and democracy guardian. Well, the issue here is that how far could the "Jewish Lobby" contribute to achieving the dream of a prosperous and peaceful Middle-East? Unfortunately, it has been over 60 years of conflict in the region without much positive or serious contribution of the Jewish Lobby to the achievement of peace between Israel and its neighbors. I believe that though the lobby could succeed in many aspects regarding the bilateral relations between the two countries (USA and Israel), it failed, to a great extent, to expand their power and influence in the Middle East region or trying to establish communication channels with different parties here relying on the reports that they receive from the Israeli governments or some agencies that may serve narrow interests.
"Every Arab and every Muslim wants to through Israel into the sea," this is, mostly, what many pro-Israel media are trying to promote in the USA and Europe. This statement, and other statements of its kind, harm Israel most, because it seems that these media people think that Israel can survive forever in a state of war with its neighbors as long as it has the US and European backing! This is very shallow and unrealistic; the world has changed, so as the Arabs, but, unfortunately, Israel, and its allies fail to understand that. What else do Israel and its allies want more than the leader of the most holy Muslim country, i.e. Saudi Arabia announcing the readiness to normalize relations with Israel in exchange for peace and according to the relevant UN resolutions? What else do they want when the biggest and strongest Arab country, i.e. Egypt is in peace with them and ready to defend it with any cost? What are they waiting for?
Well, I can tell you what they are waiting for; they are waiting for the emergence of more brutal and bloody hardliners and terrorists and terrible regimes that threaten the very roots of peace and existence of Israel! In fact, every thing that Israel does in the occupied lands in Palestine and every propaganda that the Israeli Lobby is spreading here or there serve best the extremists in the Middle East and spread hatred and anti-Semitism all over the planet (from Venezuela to Indonesia), and, at the same time, weaken the moderate front (represented in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan) and make it so embarrassed locally trying to sell the "illusive" peaceful solution!
I consider the present American Administration represented in President Obama and Secretary Clinton, a golden chance for the Middle East that wouldn't be repeated in a century. The Administration is so sincere in ending the suffering of the Israeli and Arab people and establishing peace that would not only ensure prosperity and better life, but also will undermine all the negative, anti-Semitic voices and powers that emerge here or there, making them like feeble rats that hide in dirty sewers!
The new Israeli Administration seems to be out of this planet, and they seem to think with the mentality of the Cold War! What security are they defending when every day passes without an end to the Palestinian suffering produces a new terrorist or anti-Semitic group some where in the world? The "old fashioned" administration in Israel now has to understand that the Israeli arsenal and nuclear bombs are nothing but fireworks for people who consider death and martyrdom to be the best reward they get? It is the time to wake up and appreciate that peace is the only guarantee of Israel security and existence, no thing else, I repeat, no thing else.
So let's join hands with the new American Administration and let's work for the best for the Israeli and Palestinian people, for better future, economic boom, strong and prosperous Middle-East, and, at the same time, for more secured world.
