CNN Attack Dog Should Leave Jackson Alone
Besides, the only victim I saw during that trial was Jackson, who spent much of his personal fortune on his defense. Personally, I was cheering him on. The "spectacle" he created was his way of thumbing his nose at the so-called criminal justice system that brought those trumped up charges against him. Of course, he was later vindicated when a jury concluded that he was completely innocent of all charges.
How are people, pray tell, supposed to act in this situation? Should we expect them to have reverence for the court and meekly go about fighting the charges? How then are they supposed to get back at those who are bringing the charges? I would have done something similar to what Jackson did if false charges were brought against me, i.e., instead of showing any reverence, I would be telling everyone what I thought about their little kangaroo court.
Hooray for Michael Jackson! He's a rare and brave guy -- a hero to me!
