Thousands of years ago people in China, observing successful people's houses, paid attention to location, surroundings, inner placement, and establishment of those houses in order to improve their own living places.Gradually, it all comes into the sience and art called Feng Shui, or the Wind and the Water, that calls essential tips people can use to make their homes to serve them better. Here you will find some Feng Shui "secrets" to exploit in kids' rooms.

How often the kids receive the room upstairs with several cross-beams in it and how many "room owners" can be proud with no wardrobe's and bookcase's angles directed into the room space. All that things spread the negative energy, but if in such places you hang up a bamboo stick or flute with red stripe wrapping its middle, that could change the negative energy into positive because of bamboo's "magical" property to change energy from "minus" to "plus" which is accumulated by the red stripe.

Contemporary Feng Shui also suggests on how to improve the rooms with computers and TVs, that often stay only in kids' rooms.Good thing to reduce the amount of radiated unuseful information(that is a kind of energy) is to put a couple of crystals, in particular, malachites, right before the screen of the TV or computer. The crystals would intake the negative energy, but from time to time you would need to clean them. Here is the process.First, you should take sea-salt and pour some on the table. Then you should put the crystals on this pad and cover them totally with more sea-salt so that the little pyramids appear on the table. The crystals should be kept for 2-3 days in such a manner after what you should put they into salt water for 1 day.And then simply hold them under the stream of warm water and dry.The salt used to clean the crystals is not OK to use again. The process is quite complicated, but the crystals are now ready to work another time!

But since for the kids their room is not just a place for games but often a bedroom, it would be correct to pay attention to the bed's place there. The right placement of the bed can develop the feel of confidence and of course, it provides even more comfort. It is good when the entrance is visible from the bed, although the bed should not be right opposite to the door.If the entrance is not visible and you do not feel comfortable with moving the bed, then you can try to hang up a mirror, so that it reflects the entrance.

Another point to discuss regarding to the rooms is how many or how less details to keep there. Minimalism is indeed a versatile thing because while one feels enthusiastic in almost empty room, another is bored. But the research shows that visual stimuls of new-born children's attention help them in emotional and physical development. If you wish to fill in the interior, but do not like to put there tables, bookcases or sofas, then you may consider to increase the intensity of the light and the walls' colors, to make several collages, hang up a picture, and to put in the room other attention grabbing details.

Also Feng Shui includes a smell as an aspect of the right room establishment. There are particular smells that are recommended for the kids' rooms. Those are the smell of basilica, which is considered to be bracing, the smell of cedar, which increases the feel of confidence, the smell of orange, which helps to get warm, and the smell of the pine, which has cleaning effect.
