Coaching (Finding A Good Coach)
A good coach is like a guide. He or she lets you fall and guides you to balance with even keel next time. A sport makes a person stronger and fitter both mentally and physically. A person may have the physical capacity and skill but a good coach hones and also dilutes the minor demerits. Competitions in sports are getting tighter each time as many enrollers are realizing the importance of sports.
Reputed clubs and sports foundations hire the services of a good coach who has a lot of goodwill. Credentials and personal achievements also speak in their resume. There are again different styles of coaching. Firstly the love to impart training has to heart felt. Many times the student is unable to decipher standards or come up to a desired level. Constant encouragement and backing is required to bring the best in the student.
Enrolling the child in athletics, gymnastics or indoor sports is also a great way to find the acumen in a child. Many children initially exhibit slackness or show an indifferent attitude. But a good coach is able to detect the potential in a child and also sharpen the skills further. The coach may also suggest diet changes or certain change in habits to let the child have the best in terms of fitness.
Parents need to build a rapport with the child´s coach. The child´s performance and improvement highly depends on the environment at home and hence parents need to create or improvise a time table that can have all the elements of play, fun, academics and other extra curricular interests. It is necessary to allow the coach to have a free hand in correcting the child and interfering in their work will hamper the progress.
