Pakistan and India:::Is India still a stronger "Nation"country than Pakistan?

Pakistan is a weak country. It is a nation with no historical roots outside India, the Bharat. But before the world Pakistan has diplomatically proved to be a stronger "Nation". The Pakistan has lived dreaming a "Paak" ( holy ) democracy over last six decades without having tasted even a bit of it. The socio political matrix of Pakistan is full of patches and stitches as tailored by America / UK and even China. But still where ever and when ever times demand questing intentions of India , all Pakistanies have stood together so firmly.
Let us take the example of the terrorist attack of 26/11 in Mumbai. India started with accusing Pakistan of having master minded the attack. But to day so intelligently Pakistan has succeeded to come out of the trap. Direct allegations on the Pakistan government for her direct involvement in the Mumbai attacks are no where an issue now. Pakistan has managed to become a party to investigations and changed the face of allegations from her being the accused number one to a country from where some anti social / terrorist elements have managed to conduct their terrorist activities against India. Issue has been carried so far successfully by Pakistan that the US FBI too is investigating with Pakistan as co partner and suggesting India to cooperate with Pakistan.
The first blow to Indian claims was inflicted by Indian investigating agencies it self. Even some of the India media, particularly electronic media, played unknowingly as an ally to Pakistan. The dossier that India sent to Pakistan on Mumbai attacks lost its pressure and sting with in no time. Firstly sending such a dossier gave a clear impression that Pakistan government was not directly involved nor it was associated with those who masterminded the attack . Government of India had asked for some accused to be handed over by Pakistan Government. The allegation was reduced to the extent that Pakistan soil had been used by the attackers. . Pakistan so simply became a party to investigations regretting that may her soil has been used by some anti social elements and Pakistan would surely investigate to find out whether Pak soil has been used and would surely punish the accused ( if proved under Pakistani law. Before the world Pakistan managed to project herself as an investigator instead of an accused. India so easily showed satisfaction when US / UK/ EU /others said that the militants / terrorists are finding rearing grounds in Pakistan and Afganistan.. This provided a safe way out for Pakistan Government. Now Pakistan has gone a step further and has been able to project to the outside world that Pakistan is also a victim of Islamic terrorism / militancy. The 30 point 69 questionnaire from Pakistan Government to India inresponse to Indian dossier was replied by India on 13 March. The time of reply that ran into 400 pages gave the impression it was under US wanted India to respond early in view of internal political turmoil in Pakistan inview of Nawaz Shrief march from Karachi to Islamabad ( to be concluded on 16 March ).
It was due to the inefficiency and the irresponsible role of the Indian investigating agencies and the some of Indian electronic media that Pakistan could manage a strong rebuttal to Indian dossier that had demanded the 26/11 Mumbai accused / other accused from Pakistan. . Pakistan made a very intelligent use of the irresponsible behaviour of the Indian investigating agencies ( (even some media reportings ) during the Malegaon blast case in November 2009. Disclosures were made by some electronic/ other media so vociferously with reference of the investigating agencies that RDX used in the Samjauta express blasts was provided by one of the accused involved in the Malegaon investigations along with 11 others . The news was played so profusely. No doubt the Indian Army was also quoted immediately by the media for its having ruled out any possibility of the accused having laid hands on so large a quantity of RDX. More was added to it when it was also reported that as per the forensic lab reports RDX had not been used in the Samjauta express blasts. But by this time all had been lost. Pakistan took the advantage of this irresponsible behaviour of the Indian investigating agencies . Pakistan too presented a dossier to India asking for some accused as were allegedly named by Indian investigating agencies for Samjauta express blasts since majority of the killed were Pakistani nationals. This weakened the Indian grip on Pakistan and also provided some saving material to Pakistan for taking to the world community. Had the Indian investigating agencies not lost patience while making disclosures , Pakistan would not have good a shield to defend against the allegations of India for Pakistan being a first accused.
Things have not stopped here. It was on 3rd march 09 that militants attacked the bus carrying Sri Lankan Cricket team to Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. It was not more than one hour after the attack that some Indian electronic channels while playing the clips of the attack started making some conclusive statements as regards the nature of the attack as well. The anchors / reporters started equating the sequence of events and nature of the 3/3 Lahore attack with the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks. One of the so enthusiastic news readers of local Indian channel equated the age of the militants, the bags carried by the militants, the dry fruits carried by the militants and also the dresses of the militants with those who killed nearly two hundred people in Mumbai. The "similarity" reporting was carried continuously in Indian media ( Ofcourse Pakistan media too very intelligently carried the same) . As regards Pakistani security forces no irresponsible and hurried statements / comments were made in this regard. No doubt some ex security men / cops / civil servants in Pakistan did accuse some local groups for the attack there. And when the Pakistan government came with specifics , it made clear attempt to involve the Indian lands in the Lahore attack. Pakistan Foreign Minister / Home Minister so wisely said that foreign hand is not ruled out. Today Pakistan has succeeded to stand before the world as a victim of Terrorism. It does not matter much to Pakistan if still it is accused of having provided shelter to terrorists / Islamic fundamentalists / LeT/ Al Qaida / HuM/ etc in the past.
It was on 5th March 09 that Pakistan security forces were quoted as having told the Indian counterparts not to allow the bus service ( Karvan e Aman ) from 6th of March onwards. Pakistan here to took a lead .. Where as a few days earlier it was reported that an Indian delegation lead by Amitab Mattoo will visit Pakistan to participate in Pagwash Conference. Surely in the said conference the Kashmir affairs would be discussed with particular reference to Kashmir turmoil ( which has been the reason for all most all the Kashmiri Hindu of Kashmir Valley living in exile for last over 19 years ). Pakistan was named as the first accused party even by Indian PM immediately after 26/11 Mumbai attack and still the Indian leaders were lost in the lust of political gamesmanship and vote bank politics. In the process US has seized the big brother roll from India as regards the Mumbai attacks . Pakistan has successfully managed a place where it could stand along side India as a victim of terrorism and not as a Mentor of Terrorism before the world community.
May it be media, may it politicians, may it be social activists and may it be the thinkers, many in India appear to have lost professional and social insight. It is not due lack of knowledge or information. It is surely because of lack of will. Some feeding on the Indian soils are more guided by the way the United States of America and Britain display their activities . September eleven 2001 attack on WTC is commonly known as 9 /11 attack. Hotel Taj was attacked on 26 November 2008. A right synonym to 9/11 would have been 11/26 but to make it sound like what happened in New York on 11 September people here too named the Mumbai attacks of 26 November as 26 /11 where as it should have been named that way as 11/26. Even the academicians have not corrected those who named11/26 as 26 /11 .It will not be a surprise if after 20 years the generation ahead would gets so confused to simply ask which month of the year was the 26Th when Mumnai Taj was attacked.. Similarly the actions US President takes against the enemy of the Americans is sportingly received by all . But India has to show her wounds to US to get the level of Injury assessed. Is India still a stronger country than Pakistan?
