This means: Luqaimat diet = Low-Volume Diet = Less Caloric Intake = Losing all extra Weight

Luqaimat is the Arabic word for the smallest volume of food just to supply your body with energy. I believe that the most natural and successful diet plan would be the Luqaimat diet; because it just asks you to undersize your meal volumes. Low-volume meal usually goes parallel to low calorie intake, which in turn will cause progressive weight loss.

Many scientists say the secret to losing weight is forgoing greasy, fatty foods like French fries.

Other scientists swear that cutting carbs will do the trick.

A third group of scientists postulated that eating foods high in protein will help shedding the pounds.

So, according to these three groups of scientists, the most popular weight loss diets are either low fat(e.g. Ornich), low carb (e.g. Atkins), or high protein.

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine (February 2009) suggests that the smartest way to lose weight is to eat healthy foods and to reduce caloric intake, regardless of the proportions of fat, protein, and carbohydrates, and this is exactly what happens in my innovated Luqaimat Diet Plan.

The researchers, led by Frank Sacks, a professor of cardiovascular disease prevention at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, studied 811 obese adults. The study subjects were divided into four groups, each assigned to a special diet. The first group followed a "low-fat diet; the second group consumed a "low-fat, high-protein" diet; the third group followed a "high-fat, average-protein" diet; and the fourth group ate a "high-fat, high-protein" diet. Measuring the body weight of the participants after two years, the researchers found that all four groups lost roughly the same number of pounds over time (around 9 pounds), which is considered of no advantage to any obese person.

I think that my innovated Luqaimat diet is the first known low-volume diet. I innovated this diet in 2005, modified it in 2007 then 2008.

My innovated scientific diet plan yields the maximum weight loss over all other types of diets due to many reasons:

1. My patients eat all their favorite foods, so they can maintain their diet for good.
