Somalis says No More War

The Somali people have suffered a lot, and do not want another armed group professing to be their Mujahidin. Our experiences with Siad Bare, Ali Mahdi, General Aidid, the worlds and now The Shabab and other Somali warlords have shown us that armed men only fight for their selfish agendas.
In 1980 Siad Bare and his Suprema Council the Socialist revolution seized power promising to bring about equality, freedom and justice to the Somali people. What Somalia got instead was a brutal tribalistic "minivilian" regime that violated the civil and constitutional rights of Somalis. In addition, Siad Bare presided over a plutocracy clan that mismanaged the Somali economy.
General Aidi and his USC,Ali Mahdi Fought against Siad Bare in 1989 with yet another promise of Somali's liberation from the suppressive regime of Siad Bare. The Subsequent Warlords and warlord led TFG and their gang of thugs instead killed more than 250, 000 people.
Now the Ethiopian Enemy is gone and here he come Shikh Muqtar Robow and his Alshabab movement ARS, Rascamboni Movement promising the liberation of Somalia from AMISOM troops after the from the brutal warlords. How can we be assured that All this movements except ARS who joined the peace process and sjaring the power with government are any different from Siad Bare , The General Aidid , Ali Mahdi and the warlords that they driven from Somalia? Judging from what Alshabab stands and their previous or current association with Alqaida, one can conclude that his group may be nothing more than another rebel group interested in promoting its agenda once they kill as they did before to Somali intellectuals, military officers, doctors, Islamic scholars, politicians, Sheikhs and then grab the power.
The Somali people know that only one group like Alshabab is incapable of governing Somalia. However, the solution is not another group proclaiming to be Somalia's liberator. If they are genuinely trying to help Somali people they must join the peace process. Armed struggle is not the solution to Somalia, and slaughtering people without a government and rule of law. The consequence of armed struggle, as we have seen in the past, is thousand of our poor people who do not have the resources to travel out of Somalia in search of peaceful place have died in Red sea. Only Somali people will suffer most. There may also be another massive destruction of lives and properties that had a set back socioeconomic development in Somalia.
The use of force to effect political change is detrimental to development of a peaceful and democratic society. Based on Somalis past experiences with the use of force to achieve political objectives, should Somalis In every where support valiance and another war, another military adventurism in Mogadishu? No! Please donīt accept that tell them no more war.
