12-Year Old Arkansas Entrepreneur Brings Harlem´s First Environmental Club to Alain L. Locke Element

Little Rock, AR – Riley Hoffer, pre-teen inspiration behind eco-friendly website CG Kidz (www.cgkidz.com) brings her positive message to Harlem elementary school PS 208 at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 3rd as she visits schools

across the country. CGKidz is the community outreach program for CynerGreen, a company devoted to kids and the environment.

At an assembly to be held at the school at 21 West 111th Street in New York City, Riley Hoffer will offer green tips and present the school with an environmental "club in a box" as part of her presentation to more than 250 kids, launching Harlem´s first elementary school environmental club. The visit is part of an ongoing program that has already taken her to schools in Arkansas, New York and Maryland.

"It´s amazing how many simple things kids my age can get done if they put their minds to it", said the young green-preneur, Riley. "I know that if kids start to show how much they care about the environment we can make all the difference in the world." Riley brought her idea for the kids´ program to her parents after they started the eco-friendly stainless-steel bottle making firm, Cynergeen, LLC (www.cynergreen.com).

According to Danelle Hoffer, VP Brands for Cynergreen, "Riley´s passionate voice about protecting the environment led her to develop ´Green Tips for Kids´ and the CG Kidz community outreach website in an effort to reach children in elementary and middle schools around the country take action on environmental issues. Her message is simple: "Recycle, Reduce, Reuse!"

During the school presentation, Riley will demonstrate how to make holiday decorations from recycled materials and present tips on simple actions young kids can take in their homes and at school.

In addition, the Hoffer family will present the school´s principal with a "club in a box" including materials, advise, seed contribution and a partner club in Maryland to help them get the Alain L. Locke Environmental Club off the ground. Every child in the school will receive a genuine BPA-free stainless-steel CG KIDZ reusable water bottle as a gift.

The school located near the entrance to Manhattan´s Central Park will be partnered with Maryland´s first certified eco-friendly elementary school, Gibson Island Country School (www.gics.org) outside Baltimore. The Maryland school will provide mentoring, curriculum materials and hopes for a class trip in the near future.
