Funeral Bag Piping

Robin Brain
Funerals are highly emotional occasions where people become highly sentimental on the demise of particular being. Everyone including children, women, and men come to attend a funeral and all these people are somehow connected to the deceased person. When a person is connected to the deceased one, it becomes highly difficult for him to do the job of bag piping. So it is better suggested that at occasions like these, he must hire someone professional who can do this job perfectly. It is very difficult to concentrate on the mourning ceremony of the dead person and simultaneously concentrate on the notes and rhythm of the bagpiper which a person is playing. That is why professional players are preferred at these kinds of situations so that he could fully concentrate on the notes and rhythm of the bag piper as he is very much detached from the dead person.

First of all a person should dress like he is going to a funeral and he should brush his coat and shine his shoes so that his personality would impart a positive impact on other people rather than a negative one. The bagpiper should be of a good quality. Most bag piping professionals´ use a polypenco bagpiper as it is one of the best quality bagpipers available in the market. The person should wear a well hung coal and tie suit as everyone in the mourning would be dressed up in a coat and a tie. The bag piper should be tuned already. Nobody would like to hear the person tuning his instrument on the spot. So, it is better suggested that he should carry his instrument tuned beforehand. Before the flower car arrives the location, the person should be in his position with his well tuned instrument and ready to play his tune.

The person who is playing the bag piper should avoid playing in the air conditioned environment of the church and then again playing it outside in the graveyard. This would lead to a temperature change in the bag which would make the instrument go out of tune. In case the person has to play in both the locations then after playing in the air conditioned environment of the church, the person must wait for some time for the bag to regain room temperature and then he must go out for playing in the graveyard. This keeps the bag piper relatively tuned and the person can escape the situation of tuning the instrument in front of everybody.
