Bicyclist Struck By Van in Orange County—Rider In Stable Condition

According to reports a 68 year old bicyclist was riding his bicycle in the vicinity of State College Boulevard, Kimberly Avenue and Orangethorp Avenue in Orange County, California, when he was struck by a van in traffic in the area of Kimberly Avenue.

At this particular time the rider has only been identified as a 68 year old man and the accident occurred prior to 6 a.m., according to Sgt. Micheal MacDonald of the Fullerton Police Department. When the accident occurred the rider of the bicycle was thrown from his bike. He sustained critical injuries, including major internal injuries and head injuries.
