The Olde English Bulldog for sale was heavy with strong jaws compact, with fierce look, broad and muscular height and was approximately 18 inches and they weighed about 90 pounds.
It has a symmetrical, well-proportioned body.
The head was large and square in proportion to the body. Deeply sunken between the eyes, extending up the forehead and moderately wrinkled. Its jaw muscles were large with Brindle Or Red, Grey or Black. Solid White color
If we look back this dog was used for dog fighting & once cruelty to animals act was imposed in England in 1835 then their was a decline in dog fighting and people lost interest
These heavy dogs for sale was centre of attraction for many as its looks were quite heavy and every dog lover wanted to own one.
Several breeders are trying to recreate it as this dog is intelligent & have a history of following and complying with its Masters instruction

Several attempts were made to builds the dog of same characteristic & Looks then The Olde English Bulldog was developed in the early 1970's by David Leavitt, of Coatesville, PA. Mr. Leavitt used a line breeding scheme that was designed and developed by Ohio State University for breeding cattle. The goal was to recreate a specific breed of Bulldog with the look, health and athleticism of the original bull baiting dogs, but without the extreme tenacity.
The Olde English bulldog is a "Intelligent & thinking" dog breed. Their intelligence is readily demonstrated by their problem solving ability and their adaptability. They are very sensitive dogs who bond closely with their owners and family. The Olde English Bulldog is generally kind and peaceful with its family and friends, often extending the family circle to include other household pets as well as people. Many of these dogs have been raised with cats and it is not unusual to see them playing together around the house or in the yard, or to see cats in the kennel. Olde English Bulldog can be territorial and should be introduced to other dogs with care. Again, many of these dogs have been raised with other dogs and carefully supervised.
