Labor Day Results In For Riverside DUI´s

According to Los Angeles DUI lawyers, the results that are in, during the Labor Day holiday weekend the California Highway Patrol made 390 arrests throughout the county and 51 of these were in Riverside.
In a statement from the Riverside Police Department Traffic Bureau Supervisor Karen Haverkamp, a.m. a combination of sobriety checkpoints and the amount of patrols that wre on the streets in Riverside was the reason for the motorists driving under the influence were caught. There were 30 municipal, county and state law enforcement agencies that were a part of a two week DUI anti driving under the influence campaign.
According to the California Highway Patrol there were 80 percent of their officers on the roads between six in the evening Friday and midnight Monday in their drunk driving, over the limit campaign that ended with 390 arrests for the holiday weekend.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration granted funds for this campaign in the amount of $700,000.
