Palin speech full of sarcasm yet nothing new

Republican vice Presidential pick Sarah Palin spoke to convention yet missed the mark with most Americans. We learned nothing new from her first national introduction of a week earlier in Dayton Ohio. The convention speech was only different in that it was full of sarcastic remarks about the Democratic nominees Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
I am stunned about the national news as they gush over her as a working mom and nothing more. She brings nothing new as far as policy that most Republicans have echoed in the past. I am the single father of two special needs children and her claim of understanding what I have gone through fell on deaf ears. 4 months doesn´t make her understand anything about what we parents single and married have gone through over the past 18.
The Bridge to Now where that she supported and yet claims she doesn´t. A state of few that received billions in earmarks from the federal government that she kept without complaint. Her claim that Alaskan oil can make us self sufficient on the energy front when in fact changes nothing. Drill now and keep things as they are. Add taxes to the oil produced in Alaska placing the bill onto the rest of America causing the prices to stay high.
Claims that she wants to reform government and put and end to cronyism and abuse of power. Yet she is under investigation for that very thing concerning her ex-brother in-law. The state government of Alaska had a surplus before she took the helm but somehow she claims the praise. Never mind that the small town of Wassilla that she left as mayor with a deficit. There is so much that is unknown and two months isn´t long to find out the facts about the true Palin.
This was McCains bet and the reason she was picked. As with his haphazard vetting there isn´t time to find out about the truth. The Campaign has kept her from one on one media attention. It is now understood why her 17 year old daughter was first seen holding the baby brother with many blankets hiding the fact that she was pregnant in Dayton Ohio. It´s the old bait and switch techniques of Washington. Making you believe something that is not.
The news media has the obligation to really look into the Who, what and where about this before now unknown Governor from Alaska. It will be a disservice to the American people if facts are ignored.
