Working mechanism of the glutathione:
The reduced state of the glutathione is known as the GSH. It is a tri-peptide which is composed of the amino acids. GSH is present is the cells of all the living organisms and is necessary for the life of the organisms. Another state of the glutathione is its oxidized state which is known as GSSH which is produced when some the work is done in order to protect the body from the free radicals.
It is said that the oxidized state of the glutathione is absolutely useless and it has to be regenerated in the body in the form of the reduced state called GSH. The amount or concentration of the GSH has to be in specified potential so that DNA and other cells of the body remain protected. This specified potential is known as the red-ox potential. In general the red-ox potential of the healthy cell is 400:1. This implies that the amount of GSH is 400 times more than GSSH.
And in case if the red-ox potential of the cell gets decreased then the cells and its DNA will not be protected and due to unwanted duplication they can be damaged. And in case if the amount of GSH and GSSH are equal then cell is dead.
Introduction of Anthocyans in Recancostat:
The manufactures of the Recancostat are able to keep the glutathione in the reduced state and besides this they are successful in slow releasing in the system. Another way of protection is the Anthocyans. Anthocyan helps in the protection of the body and hence prevents the cell from the radiations.
