Cindy and Michelle: Fair Game?
Discuss the real issues? No, let´s talk about Obama´s flip-flopping on campaign finances. Let´s report on the "bitter" comment made in Pennsylvania. Let´s not talk about issues. That would be way too useful and way too boring for the media hounds. What would Glen Beck have to talk about? God knows he couldn´t corner a candidate on an issue. In fact, he can´t get a candidate to appear on his show. Maybe Rush "Oxy" Limbaugh would have to come out and talk about reality instead of that soupy drug induced crap he keeps preaching, incoherently I might add.
Let´s instead bring the First Lady wannabes into the spotlight. Gee, Cindy McCain is rich and Michelle Obama says how she feels. That´s much juicier than the issues facing our country. Issues? There are a few. You know the ones, economy, war, illegal immigration, healthcare, unemployment, and foreclosed homes. Let´s talk about those problems for a change. Give up on the two innocent wives. No, wait, I´ve got an idea. How about we say something nice about them?
Newscasters and commentators found a bunch of nice things to say about the late Tim Russert (the best interviewer and human ever to step in front of a camera). Why can´t they say something nice about two women, whose husbands want to carry the troubles of our country on their shoulders (why would anyone want the job?).
Let´s face it. They say everyone has a few "skeletons in their closet." Heck, I have an entire cemetery in mine. If a commentator wants, he/she can dig dirt and bones up on almost anyone, maybe even the Pope. No, not the Pope! Heck yes. I bet if you had to, you could even dig something up on Tom Cruise the new king of Dianetics and psychiatrist pro tem.
