Bomb Iran Now -- and not just the nuclear facilities

Our political leaders are failing us. In the most critical and basic purpose of government, to defend us, they are simply not doing what is required to get the job done. They are being swept along in the moral and cultural decay of the nation.

The leaders of this cultural downturn are our academics, who are followed by the media, whom are followed by the people at large -- including our politicians. But it is the wide acceptance of morally bad ideas that is responsible for mainstream cultural opposition to the good ideas of freedom, individualism, and justice.

The only way to evaluate such ideas is to consider them in terms of values. What are mans' values? The obvious ones are the material necessities of survival such as meals, clothes, and homes. The not so obvious values are the requirements of man to gain and use his material values, such as the freedom to think and the freedom to act.

Freedom is only possible with justice. The "freedom" of anarchy (the law of the jungle) is nothing more than the burden of being in constant danger. Under tyranny, the tool of the dictator is the terror of unpredictability; you are left unable to know what actions will meet with reward and what actions will meet with punishment. The Soviet Union had the KGB and Communist Party apparatus to keep reminding people they could be pounced upon at anytime. Any system lacking objective rule-of-law is naturally unjust, and necessarily at odds with freedom (no lemonade stand is possible if any number of the actions required to create and run one may result in punishment). Instead of self-ownership, your life is owned by the thugs in the ruling gang, class, or clique.

Individualism is the recognition that you, and every other person, have an inalienable right to life and the pursuit of happiness. Granting special entitlements to a group (small or large) of people can only be done at a cost to and violation of those outside of that group. As each individual is the smallest minority, every grant of group rights is a violation of minority rights.

The only way for man to live and pursue happiness is to live for the sake of his own existence, that is, to live for him or herself.

When folks declare that all cultures are equal and deserving of respect, they are advocating moral relativity and smearing justice. If a culture sanctions slavery, holy war, or genocide, then it is evil. There is no sense in enshrining diversity as noble as it requires you to embrace both the just and the unjust. If you use sound judgment (discrimination) to embrace only the just, then you are simply applying the principle of justice.

Whenever someone advocates animal or bear rights, they are calling for the violation of mans' rights. If a bear has rights, upon encountering one you will have to respect the bear?s rights, but the bear will not respect yours. Such an act is impossible for a bear as it cannot conceive of either rights or respect. To clarify the injustice of this, imagine your daughter and a sexual predator cohabitate an area and that when they encounter each other she has to respect his rights but he does not have to respect hers.

When proponents of the Church call for impregnated women to sacrifice their future plans, not to insensate embryos, but to supernatural ?immortal souls?, they are demanding the sacrifice of the actual (human life and the pursuit of happiness) for the arbitrary (the unknowable).

Environmentalists, when they demand restrictions on land use (enforced by government); want to grant rights to future generations. That means giving our freedom and rights over to nothing at all; no generation will collect our sacrifice, instead they will sacrifice their freedom and rights to further future generations.

The next time you contemplate a political policy, check your premises. Until millions of us actively champion reason and demand that our government acts in our own interests we are all trudging downwards on a slippery slope.

Let us take our enemies chance to nuke New York City away from them forever. Let us destroy our enemies now. All it takes is for America to act fully in its own interests. That means we the people must not only act in our own selfish interest, but understand that it is the morally right thing to do.
