Iran spreading poison of terror in Moslem nations
But, one newspaper, in the entire Moslem world, continues to show its neutrality, coming out of religious bias, thus exposing dirty actions of religious fanatics and rise of militancy. It also quite often exposes root cause of Islamist extremism and terror. Weekly Blitz is the newspaper, which although till date might not be in the mainstream with other major international publications like Newsweek, Time, Economist or Readers Digest but, it is gradually gaining the strength and credibility of really getting into the ´mainstream track´. One of the best reasons for me to admire and trust this newspaper is its way of presenting news and comments in most unbiased and unmolested manner. I know this newspaper since 2003, and never saw even single news published in Blitz had ever been protested. As a journalist, it is well anticipated that, each of such publications are well covered by substantial evidences. And, certainly, that is the main reason for Weekly Blitz in gradually emerging as an Asian version of global newspaper.
In the current issue of Weekly Blitz, an inner page story titled ´Iran conspires to destabilize Bangladesh´ drew my attention like many others in the world. The news said, "Patron of terror and liar nation Iran has now started a new mockery
in putting the entire blame on Bangladesh of being anti-Zionist, after the global community turned aware of Iran-Palestine nexus's conspiracy in spreading religious extremism, terror as well as spreading poison of anti-US, anti-West, anti-Israel and anti-Semitism in Bangladesh.
It was already reported in Weekly Blitz that Iranian Embassy in Dhaka as well as Palestinian Embassy jointly hosted a seminar in Dhaka on last Friday to spread anti-West, anti-US, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic notions in the society. The racket hired a number of local intellectuals, including a director general from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh. Anti-West foreign advisor in the
military backed interim government in Dhaka, Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury sent written message to this controversial seminar expressing his solidarity towards Palestinian terror as well as with the Iran-Palestine nexus's conspiracy in turning Bangladesh into a neo-Taliban state.
But, the entire episode of Iran-Palestine patronized drama in Dhaka has been wrongly projected in Iranian media [although it is a culture of Iran to tell lie en messe]. According to information, 'Press TV' in Iran run a news item titled 'Bangladesh hosts 'Palestine' seminar', which has also been made available on website of the channel.
In the news, Press TV, quoting JR/MMN news sources said, "Bangladeshi scholars have hosted a seminar titled 'Sixty years of illegitimate occupation of Palestine' in the capital city of Dhaka.
"The event was organized by 'Palestine Association' in the Bangladeshi capital.
"The seminar was attended by the foreign ministry officials, Muslim ambassadors, think tanks, parliamentarians and university professors, IRIB [Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting] reported.
"In his speech delivered at the seminar Bangladesh's Foreign Ministry Director-General Abdus Sattar condemned the brutal Zionism's military occupation and criticized 'anti-human' Israel acts.
"He said Bangladesh backs creation of an independent Palestinian State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
"Meanwhile, tens of thousands of students held demonstrations at Dhaka
University to show their solidarity with Palestinians and severely condemned the Zionist regime's terror policies.
"A 'Photo Exhibition' with the same theme was also organized at 'Drik Gallery' in Dhaka and the Supreme Court Bar auditorium."
What a lie!
Press TV claims in this news that the program was organized by 'Palestinian Association' in Bangladesh. But, in reality it is a fact, there is no existence of any such organization in Bangladesh. The theory of such organization is a creation of under-cover official from Iranian intelligence agency, as well as 'Revolutionary Guard'.
The news also claims that, parliamentarians joined the function, which is again a lie. According to information none of the former parliamentarians ever joined the controversial program. It may be mentioned here that, parliament in Bangladesh was dissolved in 2006 on completion of its tenure and till date there is no such parliament or parliamentarian in the country.
Moreover, in the same news, Iranian media claims that "tens of thousands of students held demonstrations at Dhaka University to show their solidarity with Palestinians and severely condemned the Zionist regime's terror policies". This is something extremely funny.
According to Bangladeshi press there had been no such 'demonstration of tens of thousands of people'. Moreover, any such mass rally is banned in Bangladesh due to State of Emergency in the country. In this case, may anyone raise question as to whether Iranian-Palestinian nexus is trying to provoke people in violating law by demonstrating on streets? Or, is there any hidden conspiracy of the nexus in generating such 'demonstration' inside the campus of Dhaka University?
Bangladeshi intelligence agencies should take immediate note of it and find out hidden activities of the Iranian and Palestinian embassies, which are active in giving patronization to terrorism and lawlessness.
Iranian and Palestinian envoys in Dhaka should be immediately expelled for giving provocations to students of Dhaka University in violating State of Emergency."
Weekly Blitz for obvious reason terms Iran as patron of terror and liar nation. The above news in Blitz was picked from IRIB [Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting], which is run under Ministry of Information of Iran. So, it is certainly a government news agency. In this case, when a state-run news agency could get involved in spreading cooked news with hidden agenda, there should not be any scope for anyone to disagree with the conclusion, Weekly Blitz drew on Iran.
After reading this news, I contacted one of my Moslem friends in Bangladesh, Kazi Azizul Huq, who now is the international affairs secretary of Bangladesh Khelafata Andolan [an Islamic political party]. Being the fact that, Mr. Huq has excellent relations with high-ups in Iranian government, and once was even running an NGO with finance from Tehran, I have every reason to trust this person because of his neutrality and rational character on many of the issues of global interest. But, certainly, he has rights to defend Iran, being their old friend, and in his reply to my mail, Mr. Huq said, "About the report in the Weekly Blitz I have reservation. I do not agree that Iran is a patron of terror and a liar nation. I do not think that Iran has any aim to harm Bangladesh. But Britain has aim to de-stabilize Bangladesh and obstruct any effort to establish Bangladesh-Israel relation. We are worried if Britain develops a secret link with Iran regarding Palestine and Bangladesh."
Kazi Azizul Huq further said, "Regarding propaganda by Iranian media I have to admit that there are really a lot of lies. The program was organized by Al Quds Committee headed by Prof. A.N.M. Abdul Mannan Khan of Dhaka University and funded by Iranian government. It was not organized by any Palestine Association. Moreover the claim that hundreds and thousands of students at Dhaka University brought out demonstration in this regard is not true."
Let us know try to read between the lines of the mail from Mr. Huq. He has too endorsed that the Iranian media are making propaganda filled with lies. And surely, here the propaganda is against a Moslem nation like Bangladesh. He [Kazi Azizul Huq] has also rejected IRIB´s claim that ´hundreds and thousand of students at Dhaka University brought out demonstration´.
Kazi Huq has also endorsed in his mail to me that ´Al Quds Committee´ in Dhaka, which is headed by Professor A N M Abdul Mannan Khan [a professor with Dhaka University] is funded by Iranian government. Now, the point is, does ´Al Quds Committee´ have any permission from Bangladeshi government in receiving fund from Iranian government? Or, if by saying ´government´ Mr. Huq wants to mean Iranian Embassy in Dhaka, everyone will have the right to ask a straight question, does the Geneva Convention allow any foreign diplomatic mission in funding local organizations secretly?
Bangladesh has already witnessed ugly fangs of Islamist terror when JMB exploded bombs across the country just couple of years back. Dhaka claims to be an active partner in war on terror, although, in recent days, the Foreign Advisor in the military backed interim government was expressing willingness of slipping out from US-West block and establishing ´closer ties´ with Iran, China and other nations. The latest desire of Dhaka´s policymakers in establishing closer ties with Iran will possibly now give a huge dash when Weekly Blitz has exposed Iranian conspiracy in instigating university students in bringing out demonstration violating the state of emergency.
Few weeks back, Bangladesh government´s foreign advisor expressed anger at certain remarks or initiatives by Western diplomats in restoring democracy in the country. But, now, the same advisor and his ministry are not only silent on Iran-Palestine nexus´s agendas in instigating unlawful actions within campuses, but the foreign advisor was over enthusiastic in sending his own senior official to the controversial seminar organized by the Iran-Palestine Nexus in Bangladesh. Possibly Dhaka is yet to realize the fact that Iran and Palestine are trying to stab Bangladesh from the back. If they will not take note of the mentioned incident and investigate the issue, Iran-Palestine Nexus will get enhanced energy in boosting notoriety in the country, thus ultimately pushing Bangladesh towards their long-cherished neo-Taliban state.
