EFT is considered as one of the most important things these days. This article briefly tells you everything that you must know about EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy). EFT is either called as Emotional Freedom Techniques but in either way it means the same.

Introduction to EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) –

EFT is regarded as one of the prominent discoveries that says -

"The disturbance in the body's energy system is the cause of all negative emotions."

"Most of the physical pains and diseases are the consequence of our unresolved negative emotions."

What is EFT?

EFT is an abbreviation used for ´Emotional Freedom Therapy´. Energy psychology has developed techniques that can help you to manipulate and use your life energy to better cope up with emotional problems.

The search for the techniques that can help everyone to better cope up with their emotional illness led to the emergence of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

How EFT works?

EFT works on the presumption that negative emotions are caused by disturbances in the body's energy points and that tapping on the energy points while thinking of a negative emotion alters the body's energy field, restoring it to balance.

EFT reveals you -

How negative emotions affect us physically?

How negative thoughts and emotions are caused?

How negative thoughts and emotions affect our body´s energy levels?

How EFT helps you in restoring the body´s energy levels?

And much……more……….

Emotional Freedpm Therapy is based on the premise that the body´s energy system is linked to energy circuits, or meridians, that run throughout the body. The state of these meridians is directly affected by your emotional and physical health. By setting right the meridians i.e. restoring the body´s energy status, the emotional/physical disorder is righted, thus paving the way for natural growth and progress.

Background of EFT -

EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) was created by Gary Craig in the mid 1990s, and is meant to be a simplification and improvement of Roger Callahan's Thought Field Therapy (TFT) techniques. Craig trained with Callahan in the early 1990s. In 1993, Craig was the first person Callahan trained in his most advanced procedure, a proprietary procedure known as Voice Technology. Craig found through his experience that the sequence of tapping points did not matter and that special proprietary procedures were therefore unnecessary, so by the mid 1990s he had simplified Callahan's procedures.
