My Grandpa, Lenton Stephens 1938-2008

To: Pa

I don't think I can put into writing how much you meant to me. You were a true hero, in word and deed. You always told me I was your joy. well, I think you were mine too, because when you left, my happiness seems to have left also. But I know if you were here, you would tell me to find my happiness in the Word and continue on with soul winning, and to live my life for God.

You have been my best friend and a light in my life. The world down here seems a little darker since you left, but I feel you are in a brighter place with our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Even though I am in great pain, as are others who loved you a great deal, I praise

God that you are free from your suffering, are with Jesus, and now reunited with your loved ones who went on before you. I know you missed them so.

The angels must have carried you up to Heaven. And how wonderful it must be to see Jesus

and be surrounded with His great Love and peace.

Your selfless spirit lives on; What a blessing you have been in the lives of many;

you were the most caring person I have ever known. Your love was so great, that it has remained and has brought a lot of people together.

You were everything to me, and, without you, I know it will never be the same,

but I find comfort and hope that I will see you again someday, when God calls

me home. I will never forget you. I love you Papa, always and forever.
