Condoleezza Rice Your Country Needs You
My Liberal friends, [I have a few honestly] fear Dr. Rice more than they fear any of the VP choices suggested so far.
Although it´s seldom noticed and rarely discussed Dr. Rice is African American, her persona surpasses gender and color. Dr. Rice´s academic credentials are impeccable. She has experience in all the areas a president is required to be informed. Dr. Rice has been the Proctor of Stanford University and knows economics. She´s been active on the international seen and understands the many faces of diplomacy. Dr. Rice is well known and well respected around Washington.
Dr. Rice fills both the gender and color requirements to make Republicans politically correct. It seems PC is a greater requirement than the candidate´s qualifications in the coming election. America is becoming a girleman nation where feel-good trumps performance ten to one. Too many are worried they may offend, they aren´t recognizing the offenders.
We´re told America is losing friends in other countries, maybe it´s time other countries display a little respect and friendship for America. I have yet to see a country, even the most hostile who refuse Americas help when they´re in trouble. When Communism was sweeping the globe America stood guard at the gates of freedom, not one single country asked us to leave. When Europe was devastated by two world wars America came to the rescue, not one country complained as the products to sustain life rolled in paid for and freely given by the American people. For the past 200 years when the Barbarians were at the gates knocking them down the first call was for America to come to the rescue which they did.
For the past eight years Dr. Rice has been reassuring world leaders America was still willing and able to repel the Barbarians. Now we have a presidential candidate and a former president who are suggesting we negotiate with the Barbarians. As I recall a British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain in 1939 tried to negotiate with Adolf Hitler and got his butt kicked. We can´t negotiate with tyrants and terrorists, they´ll take but not give.
The United Nations was formed to manage international situations that became difficult. Rather than act as peace keepers they´ve acted more like enablers of dissidents. The Bush international policy as carried out by Dr. Rice has done more to keep a lid on terrorism world wide than all the mandates of the UN in all the years they´ve been in business. I fear if any of the current candidates for president McCain included doesn´t have someone backing the up they will hand America over to the Barbarians. McCain needs a good woman backing him up and I don´t mean his wife or his mother, I mean Condoleezza Rice.
Should Dr. Rice be selected as the VP running mate what can they say about her? There´s not a scintilla of evidence she has ever done anything that would warrant scrutiny. At best they can only say her support for George Bush was over zealous, but was it?
To say Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 is incorrect. Saddam Hussein had everything to do with 9/11 as did all radical Muslins. Al Qaeda is neither a nationality nor a sovereign nation. Al Qaeda is a group of radical Muslims from all Muslim countries who go about the world killing for no apparent reason, often the innocent. Al Qaeda is financed by the likes of Saddam Hussein and associates. There are times it´s what we know not what we can prove that counts.
George Bush and associates counted the number of times and the numbers killed and made the decision it was time to hit back. Any target in the Muslim world would have been justified, they chose Iraq. Radical Muslim terrorists had been systematically attacking American interests. America was told by some of our Liberal leaders, the UN and the rest of the world to suck it up and stop whining, A few deaths didn´t justify rocking the boat, the rest of the world may justify human sacrifice, not [Real Americas.] I have no doubt Condoleezza Rice was on the side of justice and not complacency leading to surrender.
Two of the candidates plus a former president would like to negotiate. They are of the false hope the terrorists can be persuaded to lay down their arms and go on their way peacefully if we just leave them alone. That didn´t work for Neville Chamberlain dealing with Adolf Hitler in 1939 nor has it worked in Iraq with the armed militants. We can´t negotiate with those who have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If Jimmy Carter, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are talking about surrender then that´s an entirely different thing. America´s surrendered before and watched the ethnic cleansing and genocide that followed. How many Vietnams, Cuba´s and Nicaragua´s do we have to endure if we always surrender when the going gets tough? How many North Korea´s and Iran´s will there be before the world´s obliterated by these mad-men? Unchecked can Armageddon be far off?
There´s much that´s suspect about John McCain, as a Reagan Conservative I´m not ready for a socialist inspired government, America became the greatest nation on earth by standing strong on principle and not giving in to the lowest possible dominator among us. Condoleezza Rice could add the wisdom and strength McCain doesn´t have.
