Adam, Eve landed here when Allah/God sent them out from Heavens

Omer Redi
The Holy Books of the two foremost religions – Islam and Christianity – scrupulously explain that the first human creatures, Adam and Eve, used to live in Heavens and were meant to live there forever. The Books further tell us that Adam and Eve finally were sent out of heaven and why.

According to the Books the first two human creatures were dropped to a certain speck on our planet from where they started to reproduce until their descendants peopled almost the entire world. But where was that location Adam and Eve landed on first directly from Heaven? Where is that starting point of human life on our planet- EARTH?

Unfortunately we donīt have any answers for these questions from irrefutable sources like the Holy Books. We also didnīt have any assumed answers based on some evidences until a few decades ago. Itīs only with the archaeological findings, in the past few decades, which are said to be dated back to some million years that probable answers to such questions started to float around.

The earlier archaeological findings in these decades suggested that human beings first originated from somewhere in the African Continent. Some years later further findings enabled reduce the scope of probable specific starting point for live on earth from some where in Africa in to the Horn of Africa which initiated unprecedentedly greater interests by archaeologists from across the world, particularly by those from renowned universities in America and Europe to study the region further. With the immense archaeological findings that followed this growing interest the scope has been reduced even further and the archaeologists started to be highly focused in one particular country in the region. That country, my friends, is Ethiopia.

Ethiopia: Where It All Begun!

With distinctive archaeological findings like the most and first complete skeleton of early human beings- Lucy or Dinqinesh (which means you are amazing/feminine) followed by the skull of a baby girl hominid- Selam (which means peace), Ethiopia has come to be the hotspot on topics of archaeology and anything related to early humanity or call it human origin, if you wish.

Nowadays it is almost every year, if not more than once a year, that new scientific evidences come out of Ethiopiaīs womb show that the country is the origin of humanity. In addition to Lucy, new excavations have produced various milestone findings that humanity or life on earth all began in Ethiopia. In other words it was on Ethiopian soil that Adam and Eve landed when Allah/God sent them out from Heavens. The latest of these findings suggests that early Ethiopians were explorers who, according to a publication about this scientific evidence, colonized the rest of the world. The publication on this latest finding says teams of explorers (bands of Ethiopians) from Ethiopia moved to various corners of the world. Read this for yourself: DNA studies map human migration (http://www.latimes.com/news/science/la-sci-dna22feb22,1,6967477.story?ctrack=4&cset=true). The scientific study found out that people living in various continents still have the genes that indicate their origin is from Ethiopia. The study thus concluded that those Ethiopians inhabited the places they went to and reproduced for generations. Through time those Ethiopians adopted to the respective environments they inhabited, like Europe, Americas, Asia as well as Africa and have come to have their current physical make-up.

Ethiopia, a country declared to be the birth place of the international obsession coffee (a name itself derived from KAFFA-the particular birth place of coffee in Ethiopia), first civilization in Africa and first to have its own script, actually manifested, still manifests and will keep manifesting that it gave birth to all humanity in our planet. But the question is how?

Being among the first Christian states in the world Ethiopia was the only country chosen by The Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be upon Him/ PBUH) as a safe heaven for his first followers including his family and close relatives. While these Muslims were suffering persecution in their own homeland Mecca, all the Prophet (PBUH) said was "go to the land of Habesha (Habesha is a collective name for Ethiopians) where no one is wronged in front of the righteous king" (called Al-Nejashi or Negash which means The King). The Prophet (PBUH) said, so be it and so it was. Then those Muslims, who lived happily and peacefully for as long as they wished, introduced Islam to the country which makes Ethiopia the first country to accept Islam outside Saudi Arabia. This shows that Ethiopia welcomed her children because truly they are her children and as a mother it is actually her duty for Ethiopia to protect them from any danger. And the Prophet (PBUH) exactly knew that. It is, howver; so rational to raise a question here: why other countries that are formed by people who moved from Ethiopia were not chosen for this purpose? Well we all agree that brothers and sisters cannot be as kind as the mother; Ethiopia. This is just one but very big example from the past!!

As to the current Ethiopia, you just go across the country and you are sure to meet representatives of human beings from North to South poles and from East to West corners of earth. Iīm not talking about people who come to Ethiopia from different parts of the world. Iīm saying you can find people born from purely Ethiopian mothers and fathers but resemble Europeans (North Americans included here as a race), Asians and Latin Americans. Of course Ethiopians are all Africans and that I donīt have to mention an example for. It is all over Ethiopia.

Perhaps because they have these relations with the rest of human race Ethiopians are known for being humble and treat every human race indiscriminately. Beyond this, there are some common sayings by nationals of other countries who stayed in Ethiopia for a while. I say nationals of other countries because no one can be called a foreigner in Ethiopia since it is his/her home.

"When you leave Ethiopia you leave your heart behind." I bet you do!

"Ethiopians are the most humble people I ever saw."

"I just fall in love with Ethiopia at first sight." Or like Bob Marley

"Let my body rest in Ethiopia."

They are all right. One thing I suspect they have not realized is that it is only because they have some kind of natural connection with this wonderful land that they feel so.

Home Coming Time

Right now this magnificent land of human origin is celebrating its 3000th -not birth day- but year of the time it started to use its own unique calendar. I believe Ethiopia was born way before 3000 years with the arrival to earth of the first human couple- Adam and Eve. If I say Ethiopia celebrates its 3000th birthday then Lucy and Selam who are actually millions of years old and unearthed from Ethiopiaīs womb should not be more than 3000 years of age. It is therefore, possible to conclude that Ethiopia might not have existed in its current shape for millions of years, but its breathtaking land certainly has been there for millions of years housing all the wonders discovered so far and those to be discovered yet intact.

Coming back to my point; Ethiopia, as it celebrates its new MILLENNIUM, calls upon all its children to gather at home. The custom is that there is always some moment in a family life for all (or at least most of) the family members to come together for a while. In Ethiopia, it is actually that moment now: HOME COMING TIME. The millennium is an absolutely ideal moment to children of the world to see their mother. Isnīt it so nice that every human being visits his/her mother at such a remarkable moment so special for the mother- Ethiopia? Thou all children of Adam and Eve thy time have arrived now for thou to visit home of thy farthest away grand parents- Ethiopia. Try to seize this especial moment to come home and see how it feels being at home. Stay for a while here, and if your instinct tells you to abandon your earlier life, so be it. You are at home, in safe hands of your mother, amongst your brothers and sisters. I personally know of few Americans, some of whom are actually billionaires, who just saw Ethiopia and decided to live here. The billionaire I am telling you about has actually bought 4 million Birr (Ethiopian Currency) worth house to live here. That is how it feels at home! Donīt get me wrong! I donīt mean that everyone should be like that. Just come home and see it for a while then you can go back to wherever is you are living now. After all you will be 7 or 8 years younger once you are at home: it is still year 2000 in Ethiopia.

In conclusion, if you are for any reason unable to see your farthest away grand parentsī home – Ethiopia – now, just watch this five minutes video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqEm3nKq77I) to see what that home looks like and get prepared to come home some other day. Also visit this wonderful website (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqEm3nKq77I) for continues update about your home.

See you when you get here!!
