Are Texans ready for details of UFO visitation?

Although the recent Texas UFO sightings are getting a lot of attention now, it is only one of many, many such incidents reported by Americans and people around the world.

Like the Erath County, Texas, cases, other similar sightings have involved reliable witnesses such as pilots, peace officers, former military personnel and other "trained observers."

Hundreds of such sightings have multiple witnesses of these kinds.

In some cases, several aircraft crew members or several peace officers responding to reports observe the same thing. Incidents involving military personnel have also included multiple reliable witnesses.

And of course, average people have also had these kinds of encounters.

As in the Stephenville, Texas, cases, it surely could be that some people are seeing highly-advanced U.S. aircraft or spacecraft.

The space shuttle and even our stealth fighters and bombers may not be the most sophisticated technology of this kind we have.

There is also the view that we have used extraterrestrial technology acquired over the years to help build our own very advanced craft.

DIFFERENT VISITORS

For many researchers, the question is not "if" we are being visited by unusual visitors.

The questions for Texans and other people who have taken a good, hard look at the situation include focusing on how many different extraterrestrial types are involved and what are their purposes, which may be complex.

What are their relationships with Earth governments and powerful groups of people behind the scenes pulling the strings of human events?

How do they view average humans? How long have they been visiting Earth?

Are some extraterrestrials dangerous? Are some our friends? What do they want here? Are some abducting humans to help solve a reproductive problem they have? Are some of them snatching cattle out west for nutrition as in the so-called "cattle mutilation" cases? (Some of the high school kids in Stephenville were joking about UFO visitors grabbing local cows.)

Have these visitors established underground and undersea bases on Earth? How much do "insiders" within U.S. Government circles and international authorities know and what are their activities and involvement?

If we browse the Web, read the many books and watch the many documentary TV shows about this topic, it is easy to find theories, reports, clues and indications about possible answers to some of these questions.

There are often accounts of at least five extraterrestrial types: "Ebens," "Grays," "Nordics," "Reptilians" and "Praying Mantis" types. Some accounts say there are many others and that some may not be "physical" beings.

In the recent online posting of an alleged 1981 briefing to President Ronald Reagan, he is told that there are at least five groups and that one is known to be friendly and one group is believed to be hostile.

Is this true? Is the alleged Reagan briefing real or partially true? We can't really know for sure. But, it does coincide with other reports in some ways.

Ebens are the type that are said to be friendly and that the movie CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND was about. Ebens supposedly may have taken a special U.S. team onboard their spacecraft in the 1960s.

Grays are those who are linked to abductions and reproductive activities involving humans. They do not seem to have a good reputation.

Nordics are very human-looking, tall, handsome and reportedly interested in peace and the successful development of the human race. They look like very well-built Scandinavian humans. These are the types who may have met with President Dwight Eisenhower at California's Edwards Air Force Base in 1954.

Reptilians are reported to be advanced reptile-like beings. Some researchers have said this group is problematic, like the Grays.

Praying Mantis types have been reported by some people, though they do not seem to be mentioned as often as some other types in various research and reports.

Are any of these descriptions based on fact or are they all fiction and fantasy? Again, maybe some people know the details, but average people can only gather what information we can and consider the possibilities.

MULTIPLE SCENARIOS

What are some of the activities that might be going on? If extraterrestrials are visiting from other planets, solar systems and/or dimensions, what might be some of their motivations?

Again, there are many reports and theories. Some allegedly come from insiders who are getting information out to the public. Some is second-hand or third-hand information. Some accounts seem like somewhat reliable rumors circulating within military and intelligence circles.

We might wonder about not only the motivations and activities of such visitors, but what about the activities of our own Earth governments and powerful non-governmental or trans-national groups – the very wealthy and very powerful who might be happy with the way things are going on Earth right now.

Regarding this element, too, there are many reports and views. Legitimate worries by national defense establishments seem understandable. Efforts by Earth militaries and scientists to get access to advanced technology seems like a reasonable activity.

Other scientific understanding about topics like engineering, technology, physics, time and space, biology and even spiritual questions also seem like worthwhile endeavors if we became aware of such a situation back in the 1940s.

Is time travel involved? What about "stargates" and "wormholes" used to travel tremendous distances through natural or technological shortcuts? Is there intelligence information about the future of Earth? Is a global disaster of some kind coming?

While some extraterrestrials may have been cooperative with the humans they came into contact with, others might not have been. And, how does a visiting extraterrestrial race figure out who are the good guys and who are the bad guys running things on our planet.

Do they reach out to dictators and greedy, evil people in power? Even within nations and governments, there are good and honorable people as well as those who are not.

Understanding these things is difficult enough for us humans. It seems like it could be more confusing for visitors. It might take years, decades or centuries to get a handle on human civilization. Then deciding how to proceed if you wanted to influence humans in one way or the other would be another complex task.

Some visitors may have an ethic of non-interference with us. They might be simply observing us, and observing other extraterrestrials and their activities here. For example, one view is that the Nordics don't interfere with us, but they are protecting us in some ways.

In human events, there are allies and friends, adversaries, those with good intentions, those with undesirable motivations and elements of self-interest. Sometimes there are hot wars, cold wars, low-level conflicts and covert activities, diplomatic relations and multiple alliances and relationships.

Accounts of extraterrestrial visitation to Earth include similar factors.

And, as in human activities, deception and hidden agendas can be in play. Gathering intelligence information about various situations, then trying to analyze the information and take appropriate actions can be challenging.

Researchers often point to the scenario of the 1947 Roswell incident. The U.S. had just fought a difficult world war, the outcome of which was not at all clear initially. The first atomic bomb had been dropped, telling the world about the frightening kinds of weapons that were being developed. And the Soviet Union was identified as the new dangerous enemy, replacing the Nazis and the Japanese military.

What would have been the response of responsible officials of the Truman administration if military personnel at the only Army Air Force atomic bomber unit, the 509th, reported that an extraterrestrial craft had crashed near their facility?

Many books, movies, TV shows and accounts have emerged from this scenario. How much is true?

Thanks to the wealth of open source intelligence (OSINT) on the Web and other media, all of us can explore the many documents, reports, theories, incident eyewitness accounts and other information about this complicated and fascinating topic.

Here in America, and in many other societies, we generally believe that average people have responsibilities as intelligent citizens and God-given rights as human beings. We tend to feel that the intelligence of average people is to be respected and that those of wealth and power are not necessarily better than the average person.

In fact, we have often seen that some of those in power and with great wealth become corrupt personally, morally and spiritually. Leaving important understanding and decisions to them can be a mistake.

Is this also a factor for consideration regarding the subject of UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation? Some researchers say yes, that we should pay attention to any reports of connections between UFOs and the rich and powerful who run, or try to run, our planet.
