Mitt Romney Will Be The Next RNC Nominee
I couldn´t agree more with Hillary Clinton that Washington needs change. May I suggest we start by removing those who have been there for the past quarter century or more, that would include Hilary Clinton it would certainly include John McCain. What´s needed is for someone with experience to lay out a plan to put the government on a sound financial footing. In order to do that the tax and spenders on both sides of the isle must be reeducated in the ways of sound physical economic polities. Someone who has actually made a payroll and paid a bill, some one how´s been held accountable for the stockholders interests, [aka.] "We the Peoples" interests.
If we look at the government being Americas largest corporation, larger than Wal Mart and G M combined. With the president being the CEO, Congress as the directors, and the bureaucrats as middle management and worker bees and act accordingly it would work. Aside from law enforcement and the military there´s very little product being created by the Washingtonians. Most of there efforts are geared toward giving away the tax payers hard earned money. Mitt Romney has a plan to correct this situation. In order for him or any president to effectively create change in Washington they first must have a congress whose interests go beyond reelections. a congress willing to listen and learn.
For the past 75 years the government has ignored financial responsibility and gone on the longest spending spree in history. Now it´s time to reign in congress, it´s also time for congress to take responsibility for the majority of the nation´s deficit and stop blaming presidents. For the past 25 years at least congress has been blaming presidents for what they refuse to take responsibility for themselves. Since Mitt Romney isn´t a Washingtonian and isn´t beholding to any of the Washington traditions and lobbyists he may be able to give congress a wake up call and make them understand it´s not their country it belongs to the "American people".
American is rapidly reaching the point when our benevolence can no longer be sustained and properly care for its own people. Over the past three quarters of a century congress has developed a total disregard for the value of the dollar. A dollar earned has no meaning to them it means the same as a dollar borrowed. This country needs a president who has the capabilities of hammering home to congress, "It´s the people´s money not theirs." In order for America to turn the corner from the gross welfare state to a financially responsible state it needs to elect a president who understands the market economy, a president who can force, through the pressures of public opinion make congress understand a market economy.
There´s an old adage few people know or would fully understand. "We get the government we elect" meaning in our system of government we the people elect as our representatives. When the public´s complacent and sends representatives back to congress without questioning their records of failures as opposed to accomplishments the quality of congress suffers greatly. As citizens we are ask to participate in the process of selecting our congress one day every two years. This can hardly be called heavy lifting yet there are many who can´t understand the importance of the election process. We are the world´s most affluent nation, how long that will last in this modern age of international competition? It will be up to those who become the decision makers for the nation.
2008 may be one of the most critical elections in America´s history, not just for the president but for congress as well. Contrary to what we are made to believe by a media whose reliability is diminished by partisan politics congress has more influence over our daily lives than a president. At the end of the day they are the ultimate decision makers.
Think about who you´ll send to congress! Ask what they´ve accomplished in the past as apposed to what they say they´ve done then vote according based on their records. Wise votes keep America free and prosperous.
