3 reasons to choose Mac over Dell

If you are considering a computer purchase, then you are undoubtedly facing the perplexing question of Mac or PC.   I recently received a question from someone considering a laptop purchase and wanted to know whether Mac or Dell is best.



Personal computer choices are just that personal, but here are several reasons why I think a Mac is a smart choice for those considering purchasing a new computer or laptop.





  • PC World recently reported that the fastest PC they tested was a Mac.


  • If you travel often, then having a place to repair your computer in case of emergency can be extremely important.   Apple operates more than 150 Apple Retail Stores nationwide.   All of the stores have a Mac Genius Bar.


  • If your computer goes down Apple Retail stores offer another benefit.   You can use the Apple computers on display in the store.
