My idea for the next Star Trek tv series.

With a new Star Trek movie set to be out sometime as early as 2008 and two years have past since the cancellation of Enterprise. I was thinking of an idea for a new Star Trek tv series and this is what I came up with.
The show could be set 10 years after the last movie where Captain Picard is being promoted to admiral and the Enterprise E is being taken over by a new captain. Right there is your guest appearance. Patrick Stewart starts the show off docking the Enterprise one last time before heading to Starfleet. The new captain takes over and throughout the show we meet the new crew of the Enterprise E.
I would suggest an alien First Officer but not a vulcan. No klingons on the crew either. The show would take off like The Next Generation show did and could create a new alien as the main threat. Perhaps something from the delta quadrant that Voyager never discovered since they skipped a lot of the delta quadrant coming home. Or perhaps an alien race that has the ability to time travel. Of course the Borg could still be a threat but perhaps make them more deadly with new technology or new powers.
Also since it is set only 10 years after "Nemesis" you can have the ship interact with the "Titan" captained by Will Riker and even do something with Voyager. Also we could meet up with another "Q" but played by somebody new. The show could have recurring stars from all the other trek shows that are still alive in the trek universe the same way "TNG" had Spock,McCoy and Scotty show up.
I think fans are ready for a new Star Trek with the Enterprise E even if it would be a new crew. Star Trek was given a rest which it badly needed and now is the time to get it hot again.
