Upper Deck Releases $100 Per Pack Hockey Card Product
Upper Deck's 2007 Ultimate Collection was released this week. The packs carry an SRP of $100 per four card pack and Upper Deck claims "an outstanding lineup of Rookie, Signature of memorabilia cards."
Highlighting the roster are autographed Ultimate Rookies Patch Variation cards numbered to 25, and Ultimate Rookies NHL Shield Variation cards – each card is a one-of-one.
Each year Ultimate Collection Hockey over delivers the most collectible rookie content in the game. Collectors will enjoy the cards of this year’s outstanding class of youngsters like Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal, Phil Kessel and Anze Kopitar,” said Josh Zusman, Hockey Brand Manager for Upper Deck. “All of the autographs in Ultimate Collection Hockey will be hard signed on the cards, which should really make collectors excited.”
For those collectors who chase the veterans, Ultimate Collection Hockey will offer numerous inserts such as Ultimate Jerseys (single, dual and triples), Premium Swatches, Ultimate Autographed Jerseys and Ultimate Signatures. Each of these inserts highlight players like Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Joe Thornton, Joe Sakic and Hall of Famers Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr and Gordie Howe.
