Halle Berry to Create New Music CD!

At least that's what the headlines are screaming around the world about a new CD from Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, reportedly titled Halle and set to premiere in February 2007.

But it appears as though some wiki page creators over at Wikipedia may just have a little too much time on their hands and have used their creative wiki powers to create one of the biggest internet rumors as of late.

TMZ is reporting that reports of Halle Berry's foray into the music world may be a hoax. They contacted uber-producer Scott Storch, who is listed on the following supposed track listing from Wikipedia, and was told that Storch had never heard of Halle Berry's music project.

Though Storch denies being involved in the reported Halle Berry music project, TMZ refused to completely squelch the rumor.

But I'm leaning more and more toward thinking it's not true. I received a lovely email from Robirob, the Official Fan Club President from Hallewood.com (The Official website of Halle Berry) with the subject line: No CD for Halle.

I also tracked down the December 2006 issue of Ebony magazine, which reportedly included quotes of Halle Berry discussing her new CD. I read it from cover to cover and didn’t find one mention of Halle Berry and her alleged new music career.

Read more here about the Halle Berry music CD and decide if it's a hoax or not.
