Can Democrats Change America’s course?

On November 7th 2006 the American People mutinied against of the officers of the good ship USS Uncle Sam. No longer would the American people blindly follow our leaders into uncharted or unsafe seas. Many were made to walk the plank and those who were saved by the skin of their teeth have a clear understanding that the status quo will no longer be tolerated. But the long term question will be if any lesson was learned and will real changes happen or will a façade of change addressing the visual and not the root causes be pulled once again over our eyes?
To that end, I will pose a challenge that if these root causes are addressed, 50% of this country’s drug problem, teenage pregnancy, broken homes, divorce, and much more can be “fixed” with just a little courage by our Congress.
Let’s face it; Money is the root of all evil! This need not be proven as all around us is the proof of money causing murders, changing elections, bribing government officials, and so much more. But where this evil has a death grip is in our court systems and especially the family court system.
American Courts today have elevated themselves to the role of lawmakers and enforcers as well as social moral and ethics icons (This is the equivalent of Mark Foley holding the exploited children banner and speaking on the subject. He understood a lot about exploited children because he was the poster boy for exploiting them). The problem is that the courts for the most part have fell victim to the same evils as the rest of American society and in general have circumvented the very laws that they are there to uphold. The American Courts have quite literally become the “do as I say, not as I do” crowd where unless you have the money (the root) to get justice and can afford to pay the legal system to get that justice, no justice will be available to the poor of this country. Being that the gap between rich and poor is expanding rapidly, therefore so is the gap of justice. In short, judges and lawyers have made it almost impossible to fight the system and our law makers tremble like cowards in a corner afraid to bring the courts back to what our founding fathers envisioned. While the Rule of Law must govern the land, at present, the Rule of Law is being used to oppress the land and the people unable to afford justice. This is especially true on the Family Court system.
First and foremost the Family Court system is done in secret without oversight. The basis for the secret nature of the Family Court system is for the protection of the children in the system. This is an outright lie as oversight could be provided without exposing the children in the system. The true reason the courts are conducted in secret is that what goes on behind those closed doors would not stand up to societal standards or the lies told to the American Public who funds billions of tax dollars that only benefit the children of the judges and lawyers who operate within the system. This is where real change and improvement in America can be accomplished with nothing more than providing oversight.
While everyone reading this would like to reduce drug use by 50% and teenage pregnancies and family violence, wanting to do something about it and actually having the courage to do what will be required for the change are two different things. First and foremost, to take on the Family Court system will immediately have everyone who has designed this system up in arms accusing anyone who questions the system as being against children and children’s welfare. This is simply not true but is a good scare tactic used to control politicians who are afraid that they will not be reelected if they open Pandora’s Box. Need an example?
Recently, Montgomery County Pennsylvania used a new tactic which may involve the Patriot Act to change and then steal money from bank accounts of persons related to or involved with persons who owe child support. When I had gathered the evidence that these accounts were not the legal accounts of the persons who owed the money but yet were levied and stolen, I went to several local politicians, both Republican and Democrat, to ask that they join in a bi-partisan request to the FBI to investigate the conduct of these actions to see if a crime had been committed. Here is a synopsis of what was told back to me.
One Republican that I contacted (being that I am a Republican) was State Senator Greenleaf. I choose State Senator Greenleaf because he is head of the Judiciary Committee in Pennsylvania. I sent Senator Greenleaf copies of the information that showed that there are some questions as to what happened as well as information (without exposing identities) on affidavits and testimony from whistleblowers that what had transpired was illegal. In the letter I sent with the information, I asked that he join a bi-partisan request to the FBI to investigate this matter. His reply, not interested. My reply, if your not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. To be fair, it would not be in his best interest to put into jail people who supported his campaign.
The Democrat that I contacted was Representative Allyson Schwartz of Pennsylvania. (To be fair, my mother contacted her about what was going on first and I followed up) Like Senator Greenleaf, I gave the same information to Representative Schwartz. Her answer, I should talk to the Courts about the problem. Talking to the Court system here about the Court system here would be the equivalent of a Jewish person looking for justice in a 1939 Nazi court; a total waste of time and maybe even dangerous.
Representative Allyson Schwartz’s assistant tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible because of the subject matter. To be fair, she did say she would run it past the people in Washington, but she did not think that Representative Allyson Schwartz would be involved in resolving this type of problem. It should be noted, she had no problem with the FBI investigating Kurt Weldon, but that was only politics and not true criminal activity. Another words, she has no intention of solving real crime only ones that have political advantages to the Democratic Party.
What is the bottom line to all of this?
I am truly not sure but I would speculate that it is the end of our free society as our founding fathers envisioned it. When someone has proof that a crime has been committed and the system is designed in such a way that it can protect the criminals because they wear black robes or Armani suits, then the average person has been degraded to the level of being a sheep waiting in line to be slaughtered. And while you might think this will never happen to you, it already has, you just don’t realize it or choose not too.
Every day our children are being slaughtered in Iraq for what, world peace, and the end to terrorism or would it be to benefit a few who profit from the war. Stand in front of the Vietnam War Memorial and count the 55,000 plus names on that wall and tell me what they all died for, the end of communism or the profit of a few. Do you see a pattern here? Everyday you leave your house afraid to ever speak in opposition to the wrongs you see every day like 3 un-armed men shot using over 50 rounds. How about where 2 police officers have a man on the ground punching him in the face? I don’t know about you but if I had someone’s knee on my throat and I could not breathe; my instinct would be to get him off. Some call that resisting arrest; others call it an act of survival. The one thing all of these incidents have in common is that racist discrimination was involved. The police were white and the victims were black. One other thing these incidents have in common, there was a denial of any wrong doing and those who are well to do agreed and those who are poor are outraged. What neither “click” understands is that this virus will infect all aspects of society and eventually bring American to a bloody end. When both sides reach the outer walls of tolerance, they will rush to the center to do battle and we will all loose that war.
To be honest and answer my initial question, can the Democrats change America; I don’t see how when they don’t even have the courage to discuss the really hard subjects or even acknowledge the problems exists. Personally I do not see real change in America unless it involves bloodshed as the powers that have control of the country will not bend from this course unless forced. Look around with true open eyes and you will see we are well on that path. I would hope that America would reach down deep and find the courage to stand up and right the wrongs from all aspects of our society and if these wrongs were righted, the moral sense of God and Country restored, the family reinstated, the evils that have plagued America would resolve itself in the form of lower drug use, teenage pregnancy, family violence and so much more. We the People have the choice; we just have to once again have the courage that made America the greatest country on earth and say that no one is above the law and that the law applies to all or none equally.
