Iran Plans to Become a New Nuclear Power by March 2007

The president of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has expressed hope, that this year (on the Iranian calendar year comes to the end on March 21, 2007) the Islamic Republic becomes a new Nuclear Power. "Time works for Iran in a situation around its nuclear program. Today the nuclear problem - most a challenge for Iran in the field of diplomacy - due to favour of God and resistance of the Iranian nation was resolved. Certainly, they (the western powers) have been angry, as wanted to have monopoly for a nuclear energy to correct the world and to impose their will to others, using this tool. Today Iran became the state possessing a full nuclear fuel cycle. All in the world know, that the Iranian nation - peaceful and friendly in relation to other countries which cooperates with others from a position of logic and culture. All technologies, and, first of all, nuclear are necessary for us, is extreme in the peace purposes ", - the Iranian president said addressing the nation
on Tuesday (11/14/2006) at the press conference broadcast on the air of local TV stations.
Besides Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has declared intention in the near future to direct this message to the American nation: "Americans asked me to talk to them and to state to them a position of the Iranian nation. I am going to direct soon to them the message." The Iranian President did not specify, whether the situation around Iranian nuclear program begins the basic theme of his address to americans or some other questions would be mentioned.
As German edition Der Spiegel informs, the Iranian government has created a confidential Fund for financing nuclear researches. Actives of this Fund can reach 418 million dollars. The western special services have received the information on confidential Fund due to listening to some telephone conversations of the Iranian officials.
Also Vice-president of Iran recently has ratified creation of the Fund and has brought in the specified means to the state budget. Thus, military expenditures will increase for 30 %, marks NEWSru Israel. The Iranian authorities plan to transfer a part of nuclear objects in underground tunnels, to construct additional lines of centrifuges, and also to erect one more atomic power station in a secret place.
Let's remind you, it was reported earlier, that the Iranian authorities plan to finish in 2007 number of centrifuges on enrichment of uranium up to 3000. Now two lines are working with 164 centrifuges in one line.
