Schwarzenegger: Chameleon or Hybrid?
They say what ever they think the majority of American citizens want to hear to get elected and then bend and twist our constitution and laws to suit there own agendas; which are usually nothing that benefits the majority, but only their special interest.
They say that Democratic opponents of California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger are calling him a chameleon, “…changing colors as he seeks re-election…”
A chameleon…perhaps...or should he be called a hybrid—if only temporarily; not middle of the road left or right, but standing for what is right. Who ever is behind this shift in Schwarzenegger’s new strategy may be, without knowing it, showing us another way to go and giving us a path to take that gives the entire road a chance to be used equally.
We need a candidate to take on this new mindset in American politics. One who will work for fairness and equality for all Americans. One who will stand up and point out what is wrong and not say I have the answers—which would surely be a lie—but who will say that together we can work to bring efficiency and accountability to American politics and build a better and internally stronger America.
It would be wonderful to see a presidential candidate of such integrity come along before the 2008 presidential elections, but I guess that is a pipedream. However, there is no time like the present for someone to come to the foreground.
We need a third party in our country, as I think that the Democrats and Republicans have had ample time to prove their worth and have failed us miserably!
I’m fairly sure that Schwarzenegger is of the “chameleon” variety, but even so, his willingness to go against his sworn party—the Republicans—is a breath of fresh air; even if this strategy is just a bid to be reelected.
