Forget about what They Think and Think about Positive Change
I know that most Americans are totally self-consumed, greedy, and selfish nowadays which is sad enough but, have we really become so vain that we care more about what the rest of the world thinks of us than we do our fellow Americans?
Why isn’t there more hoopla coming from Americans about how the current administration is destroying America from within?
Why are we up in arms about the fact that, in the twenty-first century, more and more people are living without healthcare, going hungry, and can’t afford medication which their life literally depends upon?
Why aren’t more people hollering foul over the lack of proper care for our elderly and the fact that they are being abused and taken advantage of by criminal elements, and family members wrought with greed?
We aren’t parents more interested in doing something about the lack of a proper education for their children—because our educational process and institutions are for the most part as dysfunctional as their own families—as they are about accumulating wealth and possessions?
I remember kids when I was growing up whose parents were so worried about what people thought of them that if their children were accused of something—right or wrong, and without investigating—severely punished their children simply on the word of a stranger or a neighbor, who didn’t care if the children were guilty of what they had been accused of, as long as someone was punished for what ever happened.
To me, all who put world opinion above your own country folk have your priorities just as scrambled as the parents I described above!
Come on people…we can have a great country again but it all starts at home. We have to start caring again about family, friends, and neighbors, and yes…even strangers’ right here in our own country; our own American brothers and sisters.
PLEASE…GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT!
